    Hey,

I bought my very first MacBook Pro in store about 5 months ago through a student discount, they did not offer me any additional AppleCare or anything like that.

It's come to my knowledge that I could have got AppleCare for £50. I was wondering if I'm able to purchase the AppleCare for that price right now? If they did offer me it on the day I would have jumped at the chance!

I've heard several different things such as -

    - I can purchase it within the first year.
    - It needed to be purchased on the day I bought the Mac.
    - Nothing they can do, it will cost £200.

PLEASE could someone shed some light on this.

    Thankyou.

You may not need Applecare in England, check your local consumer laws, you may already have 3 years of coverage.
