I wanted to get Care plus for my iphone air only but now that Applecare One has launched they have removed that option.

The only option you have now is either paying for theft and loss or getting Applecare One.

My guess is this has been done to get more people onto Applecare One as its £12 to cover my iPhone Air or £17 to cover 3 devices.

I already have yearly coverage on my iPad and Macbook Air and didnt want to subscribe to Applecare One.

A shame that the cheaper option without theft and loss was removed.

That is a shame! Trying to get even more money out of us lol

I have an Air and I took out AppleCare+ when I got it in May, £8.99 per month.

If I was to cancel then I’d immediately lose the coverage, it used to be that the coverage would carry on until the monthly renewal date.

Same i was going to get it soon and this week the option was removed. Bummed out about it if im honest i dont need theft and loss.

This has been frustrating for me as well. I still have a couple of phones (kids') on the old one and it looks like those are staying grandfathered in. But it's almost $15/month to cover my wife's 17 Pro, which makes me question if it's even worth it as she has a good case and historically has done a good job of taking care of her phones. So it's almost a deterrant for me to keep paying for it. But I guess "almost" is the key word there... that inkling of a chance something happens to it keeps me on board... for now. 🤷‍♂️
