Bearing in mind that in the UK we get a free 3 year warranty and 1 year telephone support when buying through the Higher Education store, is it worth paying extra for the Applecare support? If I pay an extra £48 I get an additional 2 years telephone support. Is that worth it? I presume people don't really need to use the telephone support anyway. If you have a real problem with your macbook then I guess you just take it instore.
