Same. I’d add a strong possibility of TouchID under the screen as well though.
The phone would have the size of your phone propably. So normally it would be great for you (and me). More screen size is always welcome...

All I see them doing is putting the full oled screen over the whole front face of an iPhone plus. And no ones been complaining about carrying a Plus around, me included. Some people are making this sound like a tablet. Give me more screen on the size of a plus is welcome.
Yes it was. Fragmentation of the market and because of that, tons of inventory that would have to be scrapped each year.
Everything bigger than SE is weird.

I'm pretty sure everything except the battery will be true. I bet they'll make the battery even thinner the next year because nobody needs more than 2 hours of battery life with Ultra Fast Apple Charging and Wireless Charging and they'll probably throw in an extra charger in the pack for you because it's so much fun to charge the new iPhone!

Very few different options - you had just a handful of CPU/GPU combinations to work with, very few different screen sizes and resolutions. It makes developing things so much easier. More compact apps because you didn't have to cater for 50 different devices, each with different requirements. At the same time you had Android phones with those 50 different resolutions, different memory sizes, different CPUs and whatever else.
Now Apple is happily drifting in the same direction. Every device soon has different resolution, there's more different screen sizes than you'd care to see and the apps bloat bigger and bigger. Not many are in the ~2GB size of Hearthstone but 32GB these days gives you barely the same room for your own content than 16GB used to. At the same time they stuck smaller and smaller batteries in their devices. Oh yay.
Yeah, most likely it would nearly be the exact same form factor as a Plus model, but have a larger screen and possibly higher resolution and ppi. Also bigger battery too
We've had a decade of the forehead and chin. We can expect the lesser evil—the notch—for at least the next half-decade.
I'm a big fan of the SE... for a variety of reasons. that "dream" of an OLED SE is a "nightmare" to me. I know that it is only a matter of time, that if there continues to be an SE, that the headphone jack will disappear as well as the home button, and the notch will appear. When that day comes, it will be the last day owning an iPhone. Until then, I'll thoroughly enjoy my current SE.
I think they'll introduce an iPhone X plus next year or in 2019, but I think it will be OLED like iPhone X.
iPhone 7 and 8 plus screen size is the best one in my opinion since you have a larger phone that means bigger keyboard and more room for content when displaying a web page or apps.
iPhone X has more vertical space and that comes in handy when you're scrolling lists (mail, messages, facebook...) but when you focus on a single content, like a picture or a single email, or a webpage you have too much vertical space. And that's even worse in landscape mode, I know many people always use the phone vertically, but landscape apps will always look better on the plus.

If everyone wants extremely big screens why not discontinue the iPhone and just make iPads.

They may not kill it off but I doubt they will keep it up to date. Have you seen the direction phones have been trending? Very likely we’ll see 7”+ phones in the next couple of years.
As for me, yes. Gimme 6.5” iPhone.

Pencil support on the ~6.5” iPhone would be a Note-killer, IMO.
