Apple's Announcement of New iPhone 14 Color Option is 'Imminent'

What worries me most in a long term is that Apple needs such cheap marketing tricks to drive sales. In addition, we all know that the vast majority of iPhones end up in cases so all this extra effort and costs is pointless. I rarely see naked iPhone in the wild. Apple continues to adds complexity into its iPhone lineup which inevitably adds costs that are spread across all iPhone sales and price per unit increases. It is the same with vehicles - more options you add, higher is the cost of production, logistics, marketing, sales, managing inventory, etc. Does the iMac sell better now that it offers 7 different colors? I'm not sure about that.
I can say without doubt all these colours will look stunning in my navy blue iPhone case.

Apple's rumored announcement of at least one new iPhone 14 color option is "imminent," Bloomberg's Mark Gurman said today in a tweet.
It was rumored last week that Apple plans to make the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus available in a new Yellow finish. Multiple sources informed MacRumors that Apple's PR team is planning a product briefing with reporters this Tuesday, March 7, which could be related to the launch of a new iPhone color, but we have not confirmed the topic.
Apple often introduces new iPhone colors in the spring to boost sales midway through the product cycle. On Tuesday, March 8 of 2022, Apple introduced a new Green color for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini, and a new Alpine Green color for the iPhone 13 Pro models. In April 2021, Apple made the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini available in Purple.
The new iPhone 14 color option would likely be announced with a press release on the Apple Newsroom website on Tuesday morning, potentially alongside the introduction of new iPhone case and Apple Watch band colors for the spring.
Apple first launched the iPhone 14 series last September. The new color would be purely a cosmetic change, with the hardware otherwise remaining the same. The new iPhone 15 lineup is expected to be announced in around six months from now.

I think the alpine green 13 Pro came out of nowhere last year so maybe a new color for the 14 Pro is coming as well? I would love to see a muted orange, maybe like a orange ice cream shake color with the camera bump being a deeper orange, maybe borderline blood orange?

So Apple will probably never come up with a phone that can change colour, because that would kill all their "new colour" announcements.
Took my kids to see him play a bit before the pandemic. Just him and his guitar, all acoustic set with only 100 seats in the audience. What a nice guy. My wife and I enjoyed it more than our toddlers. He doesn’t get the credit that Mr Rogers or Bob Ross does as a childhood hero but he should. Took time to chat with all of us after. Loves hearing from “beluga grads” who grew up with his music.

RGB LED iPhone! Everyone knows RGB LEDs make your computer run faster, why wouldn't it be the same for an iPhone?
There was a youtuber who scraped a bit off the back glass (on the inside) and I was thinking if they went frosted glass it would be kind of an interesting look.
The burgundy rumor mockup looks amazing, though, and if its accurate it'll be a day 1 purchase for me.
