Nothing to guess about! We know the following:

  1. There will be an iPhone 5C in multiple colours
  2. There will be iOS 7 GM
  3. There will be a iPhone 5S with fingerprint sensor and upgraded camera and internals
  4. Apple TV is going to get some nice new apps and features

This is why I found the iOS 7 once so much more exciting as we really had very little idea on what it would be.

Now of course it is much easier to keep software secret, but damn Apple you might as well given everyone the house keys and said "free for all"!

This is probably the least I've ever been for an apple event. Partly my own fault since I already have iOS 7 so nothing exciting is really happening tomorrow

I'm self-employed and it's happening around my lunchtime. I'll take a long lunch, watch the stream while I eat, and my boss won't mind one bit.

Also self-employed! I've planned the time off already and I've promised not to penalize myself in any manner, whatsoever! :D

Awesome

Well obviously this banner represents a 5" iPhone, a new Apple TV with an always listening Siri / a la carte TV packages and 3rd Party app store, a larger iPad, a Retina iPad mini, and RMBP with Haswell... oh and an iCar.

...:D

?...
This will probably be the first year that I am not tempted to buy the new iPhone and it will be the first year where I actually hate the UI of the latest iOS. I will not be upgrading the firmware of my current devices to iOS 7.

Agreed your not alone.

Been waiting for a larger phone never happened.
They stretch the 3.5 to 4 and don't even hit 720p.
They have the smallest premium phone with the least pixels.

Then cotton candy IOS 7 ... Very disappointing .

Never updating my ipad 4.

Best excuse to rack up some credt card debt. Daddy's pulling out the Amex for the preorder.

The other thing apple needs to catch up is google glass like stuff.
When will they come out w/ the prototype? They cannot ignore this type of huge upside market.. They want to go for iwatch now(which is fine) but they have to pay attention to all the possible tomorrow's device.

Wake up apple.. Don't let tomorrow's show be too boring.

No one wants Google Glass. A watch... slightly more interesting, but most people I know have shunned watches for years and I haven't heard a single person in real life clamoring to get back to wearing watches. It would take something life-changing to make a watch interesting.

As for the event and being "boring," well, a big chunk of it's going to be dedicated to the fingerprint reader and explaining how it works, and how secure it is. Apple has to do this to settle people's fears of being tracked, their fingerprints being exposed, etc.

There's really not much more to make it exciting. We're getting the 5S we've been expecting - same form factor in up to 4 colors, upgraded process, almost certainly a fingerprint sensor, and very possibly 32/64/128gb capacity, and the 5C that is basically an upgraded 5. Don't go into it expecting too much and it's fun. Expect surprise and you'll almost always be disappointed.

I just hope the event is more than just iPhone-centric announcements. I would really like to see some Mac announcements too....or some word on Mavericks at least.

Your comment sounds..smug. Yet also stupid.

Many tech and design people work from home. Most students don't have classes all day 9-5. Some people work evenings and weekends. Others are unemployed. And a huge number of people live in other parts of the world where "10 am PDT" doesn't fall during regular working hours. In other words, there are plenty of people who would be interested in a live stream.

Not to mention those whose jobs actually demand they do watch the stream, such as journalists not in attendance physically in California, or tech company workers who want to see what their competition is working on.

I swear to god I will never wear those awful glasses, neither will have a conversation with someone whilst I'm pointing a camera at that person. And honestly, I can't see any relative or friend with a different view on google glass

So anything in a wrist is a watch? Doesn't matter whether it measures your heart rate or sugar levels, it has a map app or measures your speed. It's in your wrist so it's a watch...

Jesus....

How do you know they aren't working on it and have a prototype ? When Apple has a working product that they feel is ready. They will release it.

Google went the route of a dev limited device. Supplies are *extremely* limited, very expensive and very hard to come by. I have seen quite a number of them around San Francisco, but all the people I have talked to are developers. This isn't a consumer level product currently.

Looking forward to tomorrow morning! :D I hope they stream this as well. If not I'll probably just watch the live coverage on TWiT with Leo and the gang and browse the forum. :)

In a few years ... they will be common and every where. You are exposed to cameras all day long, every day ... you can't avoid it. Over time they will get smaller and smaller to the point you won't even know they are there.
