Seems pretty cool indeed. However, I'm at least eight months out from updating and I'm not about to pay a premium until my 4S times out. I also think the gold color is cool although the first thing' an owner does, is to cover the phone with some type of protective device.

What is with this obsession with live streams? Don't you people have jobs, school, something? Are there really people who are completely free in the middle of september to watch an event for 2 hours as it happens?

I work 12s Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, as do MANY other people in the medical field (not to mention all of the other variable work schedules in the world). What an inane and irrational comment.

How many minutes into the session will there be a complaint about something?

Also what will the subject be?

The proper question is the magnitude of bitching and complaining posted before, during and after the event. My guess is most complain about the 5C not being in a color they love and it is too expensive.

Can't quite place it, but their new artwork seems very familiar, hmmmmm

well lets see what Apple is giving. I hope they release their smart watch and phone and iPad.

But hat does it all meeeeeeaaaan. The circles, intersecting..with colour. I think there will be a new phone to pad to mac tethering option, and the number of circles represents the number of days till the release. Look at the way the shadow is cast, and the way the Apple logo is in the middle. It means a new AppleTV with you as the centre.

Every (tech) company I have been at, has everyone gathering around the TV during Apple announcements.

Exciting!

With such a slow year in regaurds to apple events/product releases, I'm excited for something to be happening!

you're so concerned with everyone's lives. Get one yourself kid.

It's hard to imagine people with lives different than yours, isn't it?

Not everyone has a job where they are forced to work all day.

On Apple "event" days, I schedule all of my paperwork (that I usually do late in the day, or 1st thing in morning) right at 1:00pm EST. Then i put the live feed on one monitor and my spreadsheet on the other. Granted, I spend most of the time reading the feed, but at least I'm "working" as well. And, If I wanted to, I could come in my office, close the door, put my feet up, dim the lights, grab popcorn, DND the phone, and watch the entire event....In fact, after thinking about it, I'm choosing the latter for tomorrow. BoooYahh!

And c'mon..You know your gonna be checking your phone while ur filling those fries!

Such mean-spirited responses to a legitimate question. I didn't think people actually watched live videos at work that they can watch later at home that same day so I was wondering if some poeple here did and low and behold not only do they do so but they are also extremely defensive about it as if they think I'm judging them or something. Not a judgmental question at all just curious how people squeezed it into their schedules that's all jeez.

I'm so NOT excited for this event...I hope Apple surprises me but if most the rumors hold true I will be extremely under-whelmed.

different time zone and an awesome work environment which lets me watch it on my second screen without anyone complaining ;)

Your buyer's guide doesn't have a lot of colors, just red and two (2) green . Let's hope we get some more green on it tomorrow.

And really it should be just 1 green! I just can't understand why MacRumours listed the iPod touch as 'recently updated' when Apple released that cheaper 16GB model without the camera - it's just a cheaper option of the current generation.

Your comment sounds..smug. Yet also stupid.

Many tech and design people work from home. Most students don't have classes all day 9-5. Some people work evenings and weekends. Others are unemployed. And a huge number of people live in other parts of the world where "10 am PDT" doesn't fall during regular working hours. In other words, there are plenty of people who would be interested in a live stream.

I'm excited for new announcements. Enjoy your depressing Tuesday, as you've already decided.

I agree. I haven't been so excited about a product launch in long time.

Really? I think i was more excited about the 5...Dont get me wrong, I'm still really excited....But "S" excited. Whats got me a bit more eager is the FP scanner. Hopefully we are going to witness the birth of real world, working biometrics that changes the way we do everything on our mobile devices. Anything less will be a big fail. FP scanning is a real risk for Apple. They have to knock it way out of the park...And I'm excited because I think they are going to nail it. And since there have been zero leaks in how it might function, it leads me to believe that it gonna be BIG!!

Ok, maybe im super excited after all:D

Don't think the venue size really matters.. I'm sure it holds a couple thousand +. Maybe they are trying to keep more under wraps?

I just hope the stream is good. Last one was crap for me. Thanks Verizon LTE
