Mid-October is everyone's best guess, based on the statement by Apple's CFO.

Other than Logitech, very few other manufacturers get unannounced product details from Apple.

I thought Apple's 3rd in charge was in some video saying the iPhone 12 launch was "just days away"? It was posted here with people celebrating saying October launch was wrong. What happened? That was 4 days ago now by the way...

If its an hour event like the Apple Watch and iPad one we just had, wouldn't that be a bit long for just iPhones? Maybe we will also get some new Macs?

Interestingly thou, and it may not mean anything, but I was browsing the Apple website and noticed that the base 13" Macbook Pros has a delivery range of Oct 20 - Oct 27. Also both the 21.5 and 27 inch iMac has a delivery range of Oct 21 - Oct 28.

CTO options on the 21.5 4K iMac push that range out to Nov 3 - Nov 10.

🤔

Haven’t we learned the lesson yet? Apple doesn’t just announce hardware at events. Services represent 25% of Apple’s revenue and gets dedicated time. We saw that in September. Apple hasn’t talked about TV, Arcade, Retail, or the App Store.

That link doesn’t work her me. Perhaps Moment was working on their website and accidentally showed a page that wasn’t supposed to be up yet.

Four iPhones, videos showing off the new camera features, possibly Air Tags — seems like they could easily fill an hour.

But if they have extra time and want to drop a new “Foundation” trailer, I won’t complain. :)

There is video of it posted here. Go watch it. Said the iPhone 12 laugh was "just days away", which is a lie. Its been a week.
Did you even watch the video? Marc Allera made the claim to his employees. He’s not even an Apple employee. Eddy Cue had an extremely brief segment in the video and he made no such claim. You’ve been repeating this garbage on numerous threads yet you don’t even have the your facts straight 🤦‍♂️

With the rumor of an October 13 release date, do you think that's why Amazon announced that day as Prime day? It seems to me, given Amazon's announcement, that Apple would now pick either Tuesday the 6th, or Tuesday the 20th to announce the new iPhones.

Amazon has much larger concerns. They aren’t that petty. Besides, they will sell a ton of iPhones themselves.
