I feel like I've not much choice in upgrading to this. My iPhone 4 is on deaths door, in fact waiting through the summer to hold onto it is going to be difficult...
I recently restored my iP4 to factory and its quite fast now. I can EASILY wait for iP6. It will be well worth it.

I guess there is always a need for a bigger battery but with iOS 7 and its more extensive multitasking that need will be greater.

Makes one wonder how much of a hit iOS 7 in its final form will hurt iPhone 5 battery life. I remember iOS 5 killing my iPhone 4 battery life.

Wow. Apple is is really milking iPhone 4's design.

I am underwhelmed to say the least.

rofl... pill-form flash light....

this is clearly a blurred photo! see the round shape at the bottom of the camera hole.

Are we going to throw it under a microscope too, while we are at it? The complaint is that the anodizing comes off, fairly easily for some people. My wife's black phone is in a case and it still has some nicks on it. No fancy shining of lights, magnifying glasses, or any of the sort needed. Just look at the thing in stadard lit room and you easily see the damage.

It's a rumors site. It's all about jumping the gun. What are we supposed to comment on if not our first impressions?

How can complain when you do not know what the updates are to this model? Yes, it looks the same - this is to be expected since it is an S update. Given the history of iPhone updates, it will have features the model before did not. I am just saying to the moaners to stop moaning until it is known what they are, then decide if you wish to update.
As for your nicks - you are to blame, not Apple. Look after your device and it will not nick.

Back is different

The top and bottom panels do not appear to be glass as on the iPhone 5 - the surface shown in the photo is non-reflective.

Did not get what he meant...

They'd call it the iPhone 7 if anything, but I get what you mean.

----------

Glad to see that they didn't haphazardly redesign it just to make it look different like they did with iOS 7. It would have ended up like those ugly/cheesy HTC and Motorola phones.

Please be overbearing with me, but I didn't get what he meant: Please tell me.

Excited!

As the spec bump is normally higher with the S releases, I'm looking forward to this being a super phone..

Battery Life is likely to be a main selling point. I have a feeling that between the slightly larger battery and the new A7, Apple will be focused more so on that. Another benefit of them not changing the screen this year.

Ive's iPhone5S case has also been revealed :D

I'll enjoy every "S" model as I have since the first while others waste time complaining on here its not different enough :D

Look like we're back to the "new normal" with this leak. For a while, I was enjoying the "good old days" when we had nothing for months until WWDC last week. Oh well, it was good while it lasted.

I find it funny that people expect Apple to toss out a design after a years use.

----------

So we should expect the same thing every time?

No thanks!

Should Apple just toss out a design after only one year? I think their current business model is generous so I have no issue with a redesign every other year.

They did it from iPhone -> iPhone 3G. Who are you to lock Apple into saying new things can only happen every 24 months?

Apple's old slogan was "Think Different" not "Think Different in two year predictable increments."

Yes, especially when said design is flawed (paint job chips off too easily on "chamfered edge.")

Even if Apple sticks with the same screen size they will change the style of the iPhone 6 just for the sake of doing it because people get bored after about a minute. Not that changing up a style is really an issue it just seems these days people get bored much faster. However some may feel the iPhone 5 is just close to the style of the 4 and 4S. I am still fine with the 4S as I like the look of it better, more uniform, not that I would have an issue with the 5.

I really don't know what Apple is suppose to do with it after only a year aside from new features and power.

Don't think you appreciate the effort that goes in to designing something. I guess you want new iMacs and MacBook re designs every year too?

Ridiculous to see apple making another "S" product when their competitor keeps redesigning the phone once a year

No winder their stock has plummeted

If these rumors are true, I will be very disappointed

If iOS7 is anything like OS X Mavericks battery life could actually improve even for older phones (mostly the iPhone 5). As always BT, WiFi, and Wireless are the biggest energy hogs so if someone w/ an iPhone 5 or older has a bunch of social media apps that constantly push and pull data they could be hurting. But that's the reason you upgrade every two years. Anyone who uses a 4 or 4S and doesn't go 5S, well they have no right to complain about anything.

You call the Galaxy S4 a redesign?

At any rate it hasn't helped Samsung apparently as they are now reducing part orders for the S4:
