is knowing that either an XXXXXor an xxxxxx is a spoiler too?

TO REMIND EVERYONE - these are the rules:

-No information about anything announced or who is announcing.
-No information on AAPL stock
-No reactions, however cryptic ("it's definitly (not) worth the wait", for example)
-No fake links. Seriously. I will come to where ever you live and shove your iPhone were even Google can't find it.

So yes, yes it is Cockroach.

btw anyone else from hamburg, germany? if yes, what do u think about this ****ing freezing coolness ...

so richtig zum kotzen isses. und jetzt auch noch die newsmeldungen, dass überall das salz ausgeht. na super. da freu ich mich schon aufs wochenende ....aus zürich btw, aber verstehn tut man sich ja trotzdem ;-)

No, scumbag is the correct term for anyone who comes to a spoiler-free thread and deliberately drops hints, spoiling what should be a special experience for hundreds of people.

You may be anonymous here but you are still a scumbag, this is what your life amounts to.

We DO care and we DO NOT consider this to be a trivial event. If you consider it trivial, GO AWAY.

I have reported your infringing posts and I encourage anyone else here who does not want their experience to be spoiled (i.e. the only people who should be here) to report these scumbags, it only takes a few seconds and I am sure the mods will be alarmed at this sort of destructive behaviour.

HERE HERE!

Cockroach, Shake n Bake. I'm not being a jerk here but can you honestly say you complied with the above? If I want to start a thread called 'The sun won't rise tomorrow and everyone who agrees with me join in' What right do you have to come and post in it and spoil the fun?

Please, just let us have our fun.
1. That's rediculous.
2. If it hadn't aready been established in this thread, I wouldn't have posted it.

...the most spoiling "Spoiler-Free thread" ever here on MacRumors!

God, why don't people understand that they shouldn't give away any clues or whatever regarding the keynote??

If you really don't want to be spoiled, what are you doing on ANY Internet forum? I've certainly learned I shouldn't be here, and will be avoiding the "spoiler free" thread next time.

I thought i saw comments on the side mook mook and closed out, is it confirmed safe?

There's nothing there in the comments that could be considered a spoiler. All they say is how fun the game is. I only scanned through the comments but I looked at the top one and there was nothing there but saying how good the game was.

So yes, confirmed safe!

Well not really near Hamburg, but I just drove down the A1 to Mönchengladbach. Started snowing during the way and now everything is white. But I really like it. Has been years since we had a really great winter here.

Im dying but hopefully it will be well worth it when watching live in the comfort of my cozy office. Then i will catchup on all the blog sites, comments and open the phone lines, email and my world back up.

If I have any advice that will help you to refrain, it's just to remember that it's too late for any liveblogs. ;) Reading those now would suck... Just have to wait a little bit longer for the real thing.

I'm kinda jealous too, definitely going to wait next time.

where do we find the video keynote without getting a spoiler, as soon as it is up on the internet?

because the people here want to CELEBRATE this. and you guys ruin it.

Quite simply we are waiting for someone to post the link to the stream ASAP. Nothing more, nothing less.

Yeah i had a buddy tell me that several hours ago he said 'whatever you do...' and from that point on i shut down and went into a hole. Its def fun hanging out and waiting to watch it live. I oddly enough got alot of work done today on a couple of my projects without having the distractions of email, chats and news updates. I might integrate a scenario like this once a week into my workday.:)

You people need to settle down! The only thing that has been "spoiled" on this thread are things that have been rumored about for MONTHS! You must have been "going dark" for 6+ months to not have any idea what MAY have been announced today.

My last point: where are we? Oh, ya, MAC RUMORS.com! You wouldn't be here if you weren't wanting rumors in the first place!

I don't mind if you want ZERO spoilers, and I don't mind if you report the posts you feel contain spoilers. Just take a chill pill and cool off about it. The world will keep spinning, life will go on, don't get angry over spilt milk! Anger only shortens your life, why are you getting angry over something so trivial?

Google Earth is my retreat...

So I have successfully avoided my wife's comments, the TV news and avoided my homepage which is set to Apple's website by flying around google earth planning fantasy holidays (there is a cool lava tube in Hawaii btw ). In fact the only spoiler has been checking the comments on this thread :(

You report a post by pressing the triangular red alert symbol to the left-hand side of the post that breaks the rules.

I'd just like to say two things, and then I'm done until the link is up or I've got a good idea.

1. I'm shaking in my boots.

and 2. I didn't mean to upset so many people when I posted about my Pogue's Posts screw up. If it helps, I'm sorry.

This thread sucks big time at the moment.

I can understand that the topic has to be about the keynote, but all the people that post spoilers or almost-spoilers are just lame.

I only glimpsed at headlines last week to be as spoiler free as I can be. In the end it is a small thing in your life, but isn't the idea to enjoy the small things?
Next time there should be approval from a moderator before a reply is posted, that way the thread can STAY spoiler free for sure.

Movies:
If you want a fun movie, you should watch The King of Kong. That is hilarious!
Best movie: probably The Dark Knight.
And I think The Lord of the Rings is the best trilogy (close to The Godfather).
BTW: I haven't even watched Avatar yet.

Music:
I think the latest Muse album is great.
If you are looking for piano music, you should try Ludovico Einaudi. Some guy from Italy that composes and plays great music!

Thanks. I don't know about anyone else, but all I really wanted to hear from anyone who makes an honest mistake is "oh, sorry i screwed up" and maybe edit your original comment so it doesn't spoil anything for others catching up on the thread.

If only there were Apple events every week...

Eventually they'd get pretty thin: "And this week we're introducing a slightly bluer iPod sock..."

Just don't go to Cupertino, you might find a wikipedia entry haha

by the way, i've been checking this link for the keynote and haven't seen any spoilers http://www.apple.com/quicktime/guide/appleevents/

*SPOILER ALERT*

Steve Jobs was wearing jeans and turtleneck !

King of Kong is great and I also enjoyed Startup.com and E-dreams both documentaries on early stage startups and thoroughly enjoyable.
