It sure did on mine. Not okay on many levels.
This is a Microsoft-level move, if intended.
Apple gonna get sued for this.
EXACTLY.....This is why ppl gonna sue apple for this. Personally they should scrap the whole ai feature because its been a problem for everyone not just those who have ai features. BUT thos of us who dont have it on our phones like myself. I have se 2022 and it destroyed the icloud storage. It increased by double for no reason. I continue to report this on feedback page. Apple hasnt fixed it yet and prob wont until a yr or so from now.Deliberate behaviour?
Sad times.it destroyed the icloud storage. It increased by double for no reason.
Yeah. It usually takes a long time to recognise stuff.I continue to report this on feedback page. Apple hasnt fixed it yet and prob wont until a yr or so from now.
Well people can try to sue apple I suppose. But likely will go nowhere.Apple gonna get sued for this.

For sure!!! I remember many yrs ago I couldnt make calls or the calls would drop and I thought it was cuz my phone was so old and didnt have 5G but then I realized later maybe like 1 or 2 yrs later it started working again and I was like dang it was a bug. My phone was iphone 8. But currently I have se 2022 and theres so many bugs in ios 18. Icloud storage bug, messages bug where its not deleting texts from the server end. Usually it takes up to 4 days for text to delete on the server end once u manually delete them yourself from recently deleted but its not doing that. Thats been an issue since 18.2 but I just keep reporting it on feedback page along with the icloud storage bugSad times.

I dont think u know how apple works. Theyre currently in lawsuits right now with EU.Well people can try to sue apple I suppose. But likely will go nowhere.
They (apple) are not ramming anything down “everybody’s throat”. Please don’t include me in your universe of “everybody”. I like the features of apple intelligenceI think it is, intended or not
They should be ensuring to respect your settings/preferences when doing updates and not "turning things back on that you turned off"
Especially suspicious is that what's getting "turned back on" isn't some random setting, but specifically the half cooked "AI" they are trying to ram down everyone's throat
I think I do. That’s why they are in lawsuits.I dont think u know how apple works. Theyre currently in lawsuits right now with EU.

I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully, there will be a fix to all those issues. For sure!!! That apple doesn’t respect preferences is noted as well. To me if apple enables a feature I don’t want, I turn it off. Normally don’t crib about it online, but that’s me.Noted
👍
Whether one "likes Apple Intelligence", or doesn't like it, isn't the actual point
Not respecting the preferences of those who've turned it off is indeed "ramming it down their throat"
If you already had it on ... and it's still "on", nothing has changed for you anyhow
This particular discussion simply doesn't apply to you

Seems like this discussion applies to any Macrumors member. 👍
