Apple, no need to make my car any thinner than it is.
Snappier would be good, though.

Boom. Beauty and brawn. Every nanometer is accounted for in this remarkable work of man-made design. The materials and the way they are carefully crafted and sculpted into sensuous yet masculine lines suggests a profound level of power and boldness. Which also allows me to experience great works of art like Diablo, Mass Effect, GTA V.
Whether they are interesting or not is to each individual taste. But you cannot suggest that AM have any imagination churning out the same old, same old.New designs come out for Toyota, Honda, Nissan and Mazda every few years. None of them are particularly interesting. And they all look alike.
Aston Martin on the other hand is iconic, stunning, and unique (probably thanks to James Bond). There is no mistaking an Aston Martin when you see one.
Wow, talk about irony! Where's the Progress with Apple? a watch? Apple hasn't seen anything innovative since Steve Jobs left.
Steve Jobs didn't leave. Death is not leaving the company. The Mac Pro is an obvious piece of innovation, as are all the mobile and changes to the laptops.
You must be talking about some new device to disrupt markets.

Without citing any sources, Chowdhry describes real estate in Silicon Valley being sucked up by Apple for various efforts he suggests are covert product development, including this mysterious new something:
- Apple is gobbling a lot of real-estate in the Bay Area …”It is very difficult to get Office Space…which Apple has not already leased or owns” was a very common comment we are hearing
- Comprehensive view is that Apple is currently working on at least a couple of high intensity projects, and Apple has been aggressively hiring smart engineers from various industries ….
- It is very likely that Apple is working on some new device with the following characteristics:
- A device which is 27″ to 50″ Curved Glass somewhat resembling a car windshield or a curved display
- The whole surface area acts like an HUD (Heads Up Display)
- The various sensors are built right into the Glass
- We think this could be the next generation of some computing device, which may be completely gesture controlled…
- Apple has at-least a couple disguised buildings in Sunnyvale-Santa Clara, where some believe this stealth device is being developed
- The launch of this device does not seem imminent
Not sure that amounts to a 'drop the mic' moment.
This laptop is not even close to being better that the rMBPs that Apple puts out.
Learn to understand jokes. I own every apple product available sans watch. Chill bro. It's the Internet.
Well yeah I take it all with a grain of salt....especially considering the analyst it came from. But I do think there's too much smoke for there not to be fire at this point. While interesting to think of a HUD display like that. I don't think the driving public can quite handle those distractions. I can only imagine the accidents waiting to happen. Color me cynical. Also - I can only imagine what the replacement cost would be after an accident if the glass itself is integrated with electronics. Probably more than the rest of the car.

They need to be thinking about the future though. And retaining and attracting good talent. How do you keep and get top talent if the future is just pumping out incremental updates to iDevices and Macs. I have to imagine that would get quite boring after a while.I'd like to think that if indeed Apple is inching towards building something in the automotive space, they'd first be sure it's not going to suck the life out what vision, ideas and execution they're presently expending on iDevices, Laptops etc.
Far from perfect for a "premium product" from the worlds richest company, the risk of diluting their present efforts is very real. How probable or not, only Apple knows the risk. But given the years of hype, success, and mountains of money they've amassed... the likelihood of them believing they're perfect and completely unbreakable is quite high.
Just imagine this on wheels:I was thinking just a few days ago how ordinary cars are today. I dreamed of how different they may be if Steve were around to refine things.
The only aspects that I like about that design seem to be heavily inspired by Apple. The keyboard especially with it's flashy green LED kitsch looks appalling to me and completely destroys everything the designers did right up until then. I always wonder who but some 14 year old kids think these weird sci-fi design elements look cool. It's really the one thing that irritates me when it comes to the "gaming culture": Its lack of taste. Somehow everything made for gamers needs to look like it's been stolen from an alien space ship. What's the idea? I don't get it.I have one:

Kind of like these repetitive and non-contributing comments.Wow, talk about irony! Where's the Progress with Apple? a watch? Apple hasn't seen anything innovative since Steve Jobs left.
That's why we need a down vote option.Stop it. It's not funny anymore.
Every freaking thread:
"Herp derp, but does it bend?"
"Hurr Durr, you're bending it wrong!"
"Hopefully it doesn't bend! Amirite guys? You know, like the iPhone 6 did? Are you getting my extremely subtle reference? ...Guys?"
Holy Clockwork Orange, Batman! In Marc Newson I trust...or not.

I also think car designers are lazy. I picked up a 2016 Mazda6 a month ago and I do enjoy it. However, look at the rear ends of some cars and SUVs. They all look very similar. Just lazy. I don't know what's wrong with Toyota to add a big plastic open mouth at the bottom of their Corolla and Camry.

while Ive has owned several luxury vehicles ranging from Aston Martins and Fiats to Bentleys and Land Rovers.
No, the masses don't. Lots of people do, and they should buy models with higher capacities, but like with most technology, the vast majority barely use their phones at all.I was pointing out how you were wrong because the masses do take HD videos and tons of photos and install tons of games. Plenty of evidence to support that.
If flip phones weren't so terrible, you'd have a point. The fact is that visual voice mail, the ability to easily check emails and browse the web are beyond flip phones. You need to remember the 99.99% of phone buyers are not like you. They don't know or care about most of their phone's specs. All they care about is doing the few things they want.Totally disagree, it sounds like that person needs a flip phone, why pay for a smartphone and & 30.00 a month and not take photos, use some apps, take some videos, download some songs because if you do that your almost maxed out of your 16 gb which in reality is not even 16 it's much less when you power up for the first time.
