This week on TMZ news:

Apple consumers are skipping out on March 21st for the keynote. "I hate it. Apple haven't wow-ed me as of late. It's another refresh of same ol', same ol...he he he" says Mickey Mouse, Apple believer. Another fan by the name of Donald Duck stated, "QUACK...It's so Quack! What the quack is this? Every year, they show use these quackin' ipad, iwatch, and iphone. They show these every year like they got nothing to show or have any productive items to show. It's quacking amazing how easily they can manipulate us like a quack. Qua-qua-qua-quack" as he was having a partial seizure.

I sold my Air 2 with the hope that Air 3 would be worth more (silly I know). Anxious to have an iPad again.

AT&T has a 128GB Air 2 with LTE for $605 (certified refurbished) and am very tempted.

I think the current rumor regarding the next Apple Watch is that it will *not* be announced at this event, but rather in the fall alongside the new iPhones.
I wonder if it's either because...A) they have nothing else to show...so they want to save whatever they can for next keynote or B) They haven't finished making iWatch C) other.

We have some VERY exciting products to announce today!

iPhone SE: It's almost as good as the 6S, but smaller, with an older design!

iPad 3: It's almost as good as iPad Pro!

One Last Thing!

More Watch Bands! Also, we've updated the software so you can (buy and) wear multiple watches that do the same exact thing!

Can you imagine how disappointing this event will be if there is no Macs?

Why exactly would they refresh the MacBook after only a year? What are you expecting they are going to improve? A processor bump? They don't need an event for that.
Because the current MacBook has a pathetic CPU. The recent update of the "m" is much better.

Unless Apple doesn't care about user experience *cough* 1 gig of RAM forever *cough*

Thanks for the update. So that goes to my original point, at most it will be a processor bump, and that typically isn't even a footnote at such events.

Personally, I don't expect the rMB to get an update until the iPhone 7 comes out, and they replace the 3.5mm jack with a Lightning port. That will be news.

It depends if you were interested in a smaller iPhone. An updated 5S is *exactly what people have been asking for* in the small but vocal community who have no interest in a large smartphone.

You're painting the (potential) design similarity to the 5S as a bad thing, but it seems quite apparent (and it will be apparent to Apple to who have done the market research) that a 5S with modern internals is exactly what people want to buy.

If you're hankering after the iPhone 7 or a new Macbook Pro then this clearly isn't aimed at you. It's ok though, because not everything has to be about you.

Boring.

Bring on the WWDC and the new MacBooks.

What are you saying? The 12" MB was unveiled at the March event last year.

I'm praying for a MBPr refresh. Been holding off on getting one for this purpose. A little thinner, 12" colors, and butterfly switch keyboard. that would be enough to make me happy.

They could just do a silent update, you are correct.

The innards of the Mac laptop lineup really is 2nd/3rd rate, when you look at specs alone. Go to the MBP section, and check out the tread someone created about the VR tests, and how utterly sad the capabilities of the current Mac lineup.

I know, I know, you don't spec chance with macs. But you usually get mid/upper mid specs with highest level macs. But that is simply not true these days.

Given that, You'd really think they would try updating SOMETHING, Mac wise, at this event.

1) If the "S" edition is released in the fall, do you think we have ~1 year until a redesign?
2) How do you like your Withings? I was planning on getting one, until they redesign the Apple watch (not a fan of how it looks, at all).

I was researching just that, apparently http://www.macworld.co.uk/news/appl...rs-release-date-arm-cortex-processor-3606039/ has better intel on it than over here.
There is a good chance it's going to be a S update, but the question remains if they'll showcase it and launch by April, or wait till September and thats a good 6 months wait! But as far as I know, with it taking time for health sensors + perhaps a round watch/new design, am hoping the 3rd watch will bring it in with 7S/+ in 2017 but again nothing is certain as we've no idea what refresh/product cycle Apple chooses.

I had Withings Activite Pop, it was surprisingly accurate for steps tracking and with the addition of no charging whatsoever plus added benefit of sleep analysis. (really detailed awake/light/deep)
But it's a hit or miss, with the cons being that without any luminescent watch hands it's really hard to read when not in a lit room and then there are the software glitches/updates from them, I believe a late November one made the internal battery die out which apparently was a bug that sent the false alerts, which reminds me when you do change the battery there is a slight chance you'll scratch the back (it's really not effective method even with the tool provided) and my watch now is either 20 mins ahead, or behind, even with constant resets and syncs it won't stay on proper time.
Sorry I rambled lol.

My 2 cents, it's worth a try till the battery lasts for 6-7 months, also I won't recommend spending on the more expensive versions just yet.

Should be interesting to see if the iPad Air 3 is truly a 9.7" iPad Pro, which I hope

Am I the only one that sees "SE" could easily have been a confused "5E"? I think it would be odd to have a 5SE or just an SE, but we have had a 5, 5S and 5C, so I'm thinking perhaps the phone will actually be called a 5E. I guess we'll have to wait another 3+ weeks to find out. I love my 6 for the record, but I have two family members one with a 5 and one with a 5S that say they will absolutely not go to a larger phone. Hopefully this new phone will work for their needs as those two phones are obviously getting very old.
