Speaking of price hike has anybody noticed the $50 price hike on iPad Pro 10.5 256gb? When the Apple Store came back online after the presentation the price was changed Of that model. I have tried to notify macrumors and through Facebook but nobody has posted anything yet. Look at Best Buy or any retailer to see what the old price was 749.Is it me or is this a price hike of $50?
haha what a ____I honestly hoped the iPX would be in the $2,000 ballpark so it would be more out of reach for most consumers.

you are kidding right ?
Yup they snuck that right in there. I'm surprised more people aren't upset about it.Is it me or is this a price hike of $50?
Yup they snuck that right in there. I'm surprised more people aren't upset about it.
This iPhone lineup reminds me of the large and fragmented Mac lineup of former Apple CEO Gil Amelio in 1997 that Steve Jobs was disappointed in and wanted to streamline soon after his return.
Update: User Iconoclysm has just been killed in a fiery roadside crash, ironically, while furiously posting to macrumors.com about why people should stop judging him for texting him and driving. Sad!
Well, in iPhone's defence, it has a hell of a lot more tech packed into it than the Air.What craziness are we living in where you can buy a MacBook Air for the same price as a phone?
I share your feeling though. I could afford x no proble, but it's the principle. I'm very pro-consumer. I'm all about looking out for consumers' best interest...at least I try to.Sorry Apple, I make damn good money but I'm out. Your greediness has come around to bite you. Will use my 7 until it dies....Over and out.
WOW, iPhone X in Canada is $1,319.00 + 15% HST = $1,517.00 and that does not include AppleCare. I guess at this price I'm out.
I wrote that, my forum name was Cortland. Do I deserve this note in history?
Please tell me you are joking. They are just keeping old models in stock and selling them at lower prices. In what way is that "confusing" in the least? Anyone who finds that confusing won't be able to operate a modern smart phone anyway.
I will never understand that logic. "This business is giving me too many options! I'm so confused!" If I go to a car dealership, I'm not confused if they offer a 2018, 2017, 2016 and 2015 model of the same car. I don't ask the dealership to stop selling the 2015 model because it confuses me.
We are past the point where smart phones become outdated in 2 years, so there's no reason to discontinue phones so quickly. It's a good thing Apple still offers the older phones for people who don't need the latest and greatest. No need to overpay for the 8 when you can use a 6s and be just as happy.
Damn right,Why? It's slower than Touch ID, less flexible when it comes to unlocking your device from various angles..
If its off to the side I cant just press home to unlock it.
If I'm in bed and just wanna unlock it quickly I need to pick it up now and face it.
It takes longer to unlock your device.
The whole reason apple worked so hard to try and sell people on FaceID is because they know it is inferior when it comes to speed and convenience and couldnt make Touch ID work.
Exactly!!!Too much product fragmentation. SE, 6S, 7, 8, X ???? Maybe if they didn't make so many different models, we could get an X before November.
It works just the same if you saw the keynoteDamn right,
FACE ID is sexy but impractical. How does it fare under poor lighting, or with your glasses on?
I hear what you are saying but the storage as diff price points is def becoming more absurd.
I sure would be if they were all replaced with 8 tracks for no reason.do you also get upset cars don't have cassette and cd players?
You are probably right, but I gotta tell you, when I posted that I got not one person agreeing with me, they were all against the idea in the forum.
