Talking to AT&T right now, only the plus has a Oct 16 ship date

If you order from carrier, it's gonna ship later. I was sort of eluding that in a post I made earlier. But it was just my guess. It looks like those suspicions are confirmed. (As I am sure many other people found out last year)

Also it depends how smoothly all will go. I remember when I preordered the iPhone 5 it took quite some time till I was able to checkout because the site was getting hammered but I still got one on day one.

Would normally agree if the post directly above yours wasn't a 16gb 6s shipping on the 24th and the other posts were of 6s+ shipping in october

Done...two iPhones ordered through the ATT website. First time I didn't go through Apple because they stopped selling 2-year upgrades.

Painless. Shocked I have to say. Ship date for both is Sep 24th.
