I feel EXACTLY the same way. When I saw the ceramic, I thought "Why doesn't it come in black? Black would look amazing. It will soon. Ahhh, I won't pay that much, anyway". (If you could upgrade the guts, I would)Funny. I thought for sure I was going to jump on Series 2, but now I'm thinking of waiting. Part of me wants to hold out for black ceramic, part of me knows I wouldn't pay for it anyway.
Putting the dual core in the Series 1 makes it pretty clear my original Watch is going to get obsoleted pretty fast, and I do love my watch, but I'm just not getting the gotta have it vibe.
Of course that was true with this watch too, until 10 minutes before pre-orders when I made an impulse buy...
I always have my phone, so I really wouldn't use the gps on the watch. I don't swim, so, my current Apple Watch is water resistant enough. Brighter screen...that would be cool, but, not really that big of a deal. Faster...that's kind of a big deal. But, is it that much faster? Do I want to spend $400 for faster? Not sure. I'm going to hold off for a few weeks I think, and see what others say about the new compared to the old.
