Nvm someone posted haha

Praying the app doesn’t screw up here in Manila... or I’ll be menacing Telstra stores next Friday

I love to see the stats of the number times the store app is simultaneously being loaded right now.

It will probably sell out in minutes. But there will be stock in stores around the world on launch day.

I think Apple is tired of the press saying the devices aren’t popular anymore since there are not long lines anymore with people buying them online. That’s how I bought my last couple of iPhones.

Apple now is going to make it a point to show huge lines of people waiting for stores to open on launch day.

Too bad you can't get it preloaded with iOS 10. Then I would think about a X and sell my 7+

In one word----Nope

I would expect the prices to go even higher on the 11 especially if they make a Plus version. The X will probably stay about the same and the 8 will be the more economical choice.

A $1500 iPhone 11 Plus might sound high, but as long as millions and millions of people will pay it I don’t blame Apple for charging as much as possible. Prices like that really help the profit margin.

Is the concept of time zones a new phenomenon? Why does Macrumors think people are so stupid that they don’t understand that 12:01 Pacific time translates into different times in other parts of the world?

No. They're just being helpful and offering conversions for some common places to help folks out.

It goes on sale 12:01 AM Pacific Daylight Time (PDT). Not “Pacific Time”, that’s not an actual time zone.

Not every place in the country respects Daylight Savings time, so you have to be precise.

You think Woz changed his mind? Probably is already is playing with one now. ;)
[doublepost=1509072044][/doublepost]I think Apple should stop with the numbering scheme now that they reached "X". I can't image an iPhone 23 or XXIII.
No, they should restart with the same way as the watch and call next year's model "iPhone X Series 1"

I am trying to stay on the sidelines - I can afford it but Apple pricing really rubs me the wrong way. I wonder if next year when they go to 2 models, are we going to get more reasonable prices?

Once they get everybody on 256GB they will have 128/512GB for the next line up.
