Apple's Online Store Down Ahead of iPhone X Pre-Orders

Is it 2 per account or per household? I wanted to get one for each member (4)?
I have this same question. For the iPhone 8 preorder, it was 2 per order. I was able to get 6 total via 3 orders on the same account (I ended up returning them all). I hope it’s the same for X. But because of limited supply I’m afraid they might have a 2 per account or household this time :(

The show is about to start. This is going to be a mess. I hope I get a launch day phone but odds are not in everyone’s favor.

It really is ingenious how they did this... I was used to the 128 and now I'm buying the 256 because 64 simply isn't enough anymore

They have been playing that tedious game for years. I held my ground and bought the 64gb this time. I am done playing the game.

Why the hell don’t they just sell one version of the phone that’s compatible with all carriers? Why the att and tmob models at all? The Verizon model is compatible with all carriers?

To all the peeps that didn't favorite their model of iPhone X, good luck.

Done it on multiple devices and browsers earlier today. I'm at a disadvantage though because I want to first time enroll in IUP and will no doubt be redirected to Citizens Bank servers for credit check and approval first, wasting precious moments. I'm really annoyed Apple and the bank did not let new financiers prequalify. Probably intentionally to choke out the demand and control preorder flow

I have the page up right where I'm about to sign up for IUP on my browsers. I hope I can click it and get through the credit part immediately at 3:01am

Nope, had every years model so far.

Why do you ask?
GSM vs CDMA. If you bought iphones before you didn't have to wonder why they don't combine versions.

Would love to see the traffic spike data on Apple servers right around 12a PST.
I would expect to see traffic spikes at the top of every hour now before 12am PT. There are many, and some on Macrumors forum, who either lack understanding of time zones, and/or, reading comphrension, and assume at 12:01et they may get released.

I forgot to put my credit card information on the Apple store app but I do have my info updated in the Apple Pay section . Is that all I need? or is the Apple store Payment information separate

I have to admit I don’t pay much attention (I buy the minimum tier) but I thought it was usually 4x between the min/max... 16/64, 32/128, 64/256, like that.

I guess sometimes they’ve sold 3 tiers but you already hear complaints about pre-return-of-Jobs SKU bloat, I think 2 tiers is all they’re going to do.

I don’t think you’re going to see 128/256; 128 is overkill for so many users. It’ll go to 128/512 at some point though. FWIW, NAND is currently relatively constrained/expensive right now, from what I understand.

Good luck to anyone in Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands! Oh, not that your government is doing much to restore power and cell service....
