I think too early for that. I wish they did as I have 2018 MBP 13 and 15 and I truly hate the keyboard and Touch Bar!
If the 16 inch rumors are true I will definitely go for it!

I mean a small CPU bump with the current design. 16" model later this year.

iPhone Xs & iPhone Xs MAX in Product RED.
Probably the most likely thing to happen, along with new watchbands and cases.

The subscription model that Apple is going after has way more opportunities with iDevices, so I bet we most likely see a subtle Mac refresh if anything gets updated.

I know there’s no real convenient time to disconnect the Apple store, but it must be annoying for those who are across the world who have different time zones want to make purchases, where it’s takes this long for it to be brought back online. One thing I would like to see Apple change in the future, is maybe how they implement their server take down where it’s minimal or something like Amazon, where it’s updated without having to have any interruption.

Pretty sure Apple takes down the store to generate hype as opposed to having some real technical justifications

They do it for hype reasons. It works.

You're right, but Apple is doing it for marketing. It causes people to be in stress.

iPhone Xs & iPhone Xs MAX in Product RED.

It is a possibility, but they may skip Product Red for the Xs as Xr offered the color from the very beginning.
They din't offer a Red X but only sold 8 and 8+, it may have something to do with the design of the phone and the usage of stainless steel

I understand the marketing theory behind why Apple might take the store down, but the reality is, it’s still inconveniencing for customers who want to make purchases for an extended amount of time where it’s disconnected, that was mainly my point.

It's amazing how much hype can be generated in a single thread. Page one, it's AirPods, Page 6 it's a full line up refresh.

As long as iPads continue to just be a blown up smartphone, I have no interest I am glad though for the peeps that do have interest in them getting a better product.

Imagine if the same happened in actual stores, with employee greeting you saying "thanks for coming, please come back in a couple of hours"
