Apple's 'Podcasts' App Crashing on Launch

Podcasts - it's happening again!

This is what worked for me.

shut down podcast app.

Put phone in Airplane mode.

Restart app.

Turn off all subscriptions

Turn Airplane mode off

Then it works fine.

I think it is a glitch in the subscription access that is making it crash but that is just a guess.

I've done this and it still crashes - started again today!
EDIT - sorry, it DOES work. I needed to completely shut down the app, not just close it . Thx to psblake

The issue appears to be resolved now.

On the apple discussions there was a disproportionate number of Nzers affected this second time around. But it does seem fine now. I was previously able to replicate the problem consistently and now not.

Aaaaaand, it's happening again. Why can't apple just fix it and leave it?

I finally have a podcast that I want to listen to and I can't... ARGH... I've tried all of the ideas in the thread, nothing worked that I tried.

Any other ideas.

Any other apps I can use to listen to podcasts?
