Phew not before time. I was getting close to having to buy a 99p microfibre dishcloth from Waitrose.

Alongside the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models released in October, Apple introduced an Apple-branded microfiber Polishing Cloth priced at $19, which, like many overpriced Apple products, quickly turned into a joke.

The Polishing Cloth sold out within a day, and shipping estimates initially pushed into November as Apple fans didn't want to be the only one without a special Apple Polishing Cloth. Just days later, supplies of the Polishing Cloth were entirely exhausted and it became impossible to get one ahead of the holidays.

Since then, the Apple Cloth has been sold out, but as noted by 9to5Mac, it's now back in stock and ready to be delivered to customers within days. Polishing Cloths ordered today from the online Apple Store will deliver by the end of the week with free shipping.

There doesn't appear to be Polishing Cloth availability in Apple retail stores right now, but that could change in the coming days as supplies improve.

Apple's Polishing Cloth is made of a soft, nonabrasive material that Apple says can be used to clean any Apple display, including the Pro Display XDR with special nano-texture glass.

Had my last $19 and it was either get this or the kids starve.

Looks like the kids are gonna have to eat their shoes.

Serious question - anyone with a Peloton use these cloths? It's an amazing screen, but I get crazy scared of using any microfiber simply because I don't wanna scratch it. How good a job does it do from the Peloton screens? (Think I know that answer, just wanna be sure.)

the thought that there are people who think like this around me driving cars is frightening.

I know right? And we own better cars, with better equipment than you too! So scary that someone can ask a question like that and threaten your way of life!!! ??

I remember when these launched and they were being sold near $50.00 on eBay.

I swear, some people will buy these and never open them. Apple has an unusually strong fan base at times.

Cue the resumption of the jokes about buying it to polish one off…

It's no different than Tesla. There's a reason why these companies are some of the most valuable stocks in history - they play with one's psychology of collection. I'm just curious if it's even that much better, cause at times, you have no idea. (Then again, I'm not asking if Tesla booty shorts make for more bouncy)

I have no idea what I was expecting, that‘s totally on me, but after waiting two months for mine to arrive… I was a little disappointed. It was smaller than I expected, again that‘s on me. However, I have other cloths that work just as well. Not sure what I was expecting.

I was going to jokingly complain that there's no 10-minute-video of iJustine reviewing the Polishing Cloth.
Well, in fairness, Apple does send products direct to her for review & unboxing. And 70% of her channel is devoted to Apple, so there’s that. She is a huge gateway for influence of their product line and company.

I have Apple Polishing Cloth Pro. I got it at the Apple store, no waiting.

It's the size of two 13 Pro Max devices...perhaps the folding iPhone.
