I'd be interested in 2015 model.
Not one of the 2019's has 32gb RAM![]()
I give up. What on earth is going on with the pricing on these two (your second and fifth link)? $2,889 vs. $4,379 on what appears to be… identical configs?

That seems really quick to seem them in the Refurbished Store. Less than 3 months since launch.
I don't think it's silly. In terms of accessibility of ports, reliable keyboard design, and ability to upgrade storage....the 2015 in compared to what's offered now is not at all silly. The 2015's were plenty fast when first released and even now it still is. Disabling csrutil and running purge_wrangler script, a fairly easy thing to do, can give you access of using thunderbolt 2 for eGPU support; that's what I do with my 2012 macbook. I know there are some limitations however when we look at the compromises made with the current lineup (thinness over function) I think the tradeoff is negligible. At this point, that's silly. The fastest 2015 model is 19% slower in single-core and 56% in multi-core than the slowest 2019 model (the fastest? 27%/104%). And that's only the CPU…
with new design coming as the next one supposedly:

Considering that nearly every brand new Macbook Pro is 12% off over at B&H, Apple's 15% discount for "refurbished" isnt very appealing.
But hey, if you havent learned to price check on major purchases, then you kind of deserve to be tricked.
I think something's screwy. Those were not coming up when I was on earlier.I see plenty.

And many more.
Maybe there's some QC issues with a bunch of machines that never made it to sale, but repairing them meant that they could not offer the same warranties etc. Refurbished may not mean it's ever been used.I think it seems surprising.
I haven't been keeping track, but I don't recall any recent Macs that were on the refurbished store less than 3 months after launch.

Real world speed vs. your quoted percentages are two different things. My 2015 15" is plenty fast. Loads everything I use almost instantly. It's still a great computer despite being xx% slower than whatever computers you're talking about. At this point, that's silly. The fastest 2015 model is 19% slower in single-core and 56% in multi-core than the slowest 2019 model (the fastest? 27%/104%). And that's only the CPU…
I hope so too. Though Apple have been saying that for the past 3 yearsBut let's face it, the design problems of this current generation have been pretty spectacularly bad. I'm gonna be optimistic and say that Apple has learned their lesson. We may not see the return of MagSafe, but I have a feeling this upcoming generation of MacBook pros will be a marked improvement in a number of ways.
All of the refurbished MacBook Pro models are discounted by right around 15 percent. For the most affordable May 2019 13-inch MacBook Pro with a 2.4GHz processor and 256GB of storage, the discount drops the price from $1,799 to $1,529.
Does it mean that a lot of Macbook Pro users out there are returning their laptops?
If that is the case, why?
For my part, I was considering on getting a Macbook Pro and I am glad I didn'tbecuase for around $3000 I was able to get a windows laptop with 32GB Ram, 1 TB Nvme, i7 9th gen, 144hz 3ms screen, RTX 2070 and it is not refurbish
