If it had Pro-Motion like the recent iPad Pro, it might be its best selling point
I have a feeling that if the flagship, most pricey iPhone doesn't have Pro-Motion then Apple wouldn't enable it on a cheaper iPhone.

Long term, iOS and software all that matters. Hardware is superficial that eventually wears off. The User becomes more immersed into the software, which is why iOS has such a strong following for its fluid, simplistic straightforward approach. (And of course the security).

Honestly most people don’t even use itNo 3D touch? Come on. That's a huge step backwards.

Good for you. After having the X and the Essential PH-1 with their 2:1-ish ratios, I can't go back. My girlfriend's 16:9 Pixel feels fat and bloated in comparison.

This sounds like a such a bizarre iPhone lineup. So the 6.1” will be an upgrade from previous models in terms of size and bezels, but a downgrade in almost every other way (worse camera, no 3D touch, sounds like worse battery life)?
One might argue that 3D touch is not as useful as others think, which by not including it on a 6.1 iPhone, will actually help reduce the cost of the new iPhone. Therefore others might see the price point more attractive.
