Gan (Galium nitride technology) is much better than what we have
Of course the main issue will be price. In this inflationary environment are people going to want to pay extra??

if it’s 35w sum, then anyone who buys this should be embarrassed.

If it’s 35w each port, then it’s just like the studio display. There’s nothing you can quite compare it to, and it can be argued that it’s worth the money to some people.
Ugreen has a dual usb travel charger that does 65W and 30W at the same time. That’s pretty close.

If you want a good dual USB-PD charger, I recommend the Anker Nano Pro (521), looks smaller than this alleged Apple charger. Sells for $36.

Rumors are rumors, but if that's the actual design it's a good one, and I'll probably pay whatever the farily stiff price is for one.

Apple makes very good little USB adapters, but it has always bugged me that you can't fold the prongs down like you can with the compact connector on their laptop bricks. The only other complaint is that you have to carry more than one if you want to charge multiple devices at once.

Both problems solved, and super compact.
We’ve had foldable prongs on Apple’s chargers for years here in the UK ?? You yanks are way behind ?

Not a fan of how wide the charger in that render is. Wide chargers always end up blocking multiple electrical sockets on a power strip.

As others have said - v.similar to the UK plug, which works great

ChargerLAB today shared alleged images of Apple's unreleased 35W power adapter with dual USB-C ports, providing a first look at the accessory's potential design.

apple-35w-dual-usb-c-ports-charger-images.jpeg

The images suggest that the charger will have a compact design with side-by-side USB-C ports, foldable prongs, and circular indents that would provide extra grip for removing the charger from a power outlet. 35W would be suitable for charging a wide range of Apple devices, such as iPhones, iPads, the latest MacBook Air, and the HomePod mini.

i’m waiting for next years, it’ll have 3 ports.

can’t innovate … my ass

Despite the rumors to the contrary, I really do hope the next iPhone Pros get USB-C. ALL Apple “Pro” devices should have it. Actually, all of them do EXCEPT for the iPhone Pro. Come on Apple.

Even with GaN, that is too small to be 35w each port. 35w total makes a lot of sense... you could charge your phone and any iPad and/or Apple Watch.

Love Apple products, love their design, love the build quality etc etc. But I draw the line at plugs. Recently bought a Unitek-branded 3 port plug (2x USB-C, 1x USB-A) from Amazon for GBP £30. It's capable of 60w, includes adaptors to use worldwide and is well made. Unless this Apple plug is less than £30 I can't think of any reason why it would be worth buying.

Wonder what the non-US will look like, doesn't look like this one is an international version..

This looks nice and practicle, for long time i was looking for something that i can use at home and travel with it. Since most of these chargers have these metal prongs open and protruding it was always difficult to keep it in the bag or in tight places with pressure. So this is nice and welcome, IF IT'S ALL TRUE THOUGH!
