Apple should match it feature by feature to the iPhone 6S Plus (except battery, that might be hard due to the smaller size).
SE - Same Enclosure
Would you expect Apple to sell a 32 GB iPhone SE (as the entry-level) alongside the iPhone 6, 6s, 6 Plus and 6s Plus each with 16 GB? At the very least they would have to shift all those to 32 GB as well. But if they wanted to do this, they'd rather do it with the release of the iPhone 7.
Please explain how it's a special edition compared to any other iPhone model? When I think about "special edition" product they are unique and also only offered for a limited time. I don't see that as the case here on either account.
SE = Small Edition
Another good one.How about iPhone Classic?
with a body measuring in at 123.8mm tall, 58.6mm wide, and 7.6mm thick.
iPhone Sport Edition
As far as I know, Apple has never ever officially published the name the initials supposedly stand for. Not sure why we're debating it.
it's called "shelf clearance" and people will LOVE to buy it, if it's any thinner..No matter what it's called, it will be an Edsel if it ships with 1 Gig of RAM.
new information pointing to the possibility of Apple dropping the "5" from the name altogether and simply calling it the "iPhone SE."
