Sweet. Also hope the 13 model is lighter too with brighter screen. Hope battery life is stronger too.
I hope for lighter as well. But the reduced thickness means a smaller battery, which is likely afforded by the switch to OLED from LCD, so I wouldn’t count on neither a brighter screen nor a longer battery life.

What the heck is the fascination with thinness?

I have an iPad Air 5 and it’s so thin it requires a case to prevent it from being bent.
There is no fascination with thinness, Apple has been increasing the thickness of their devices for many years. To me, thinness is a key feature for a tablet. I would definitely like a thinner iPad Pro.

1mm thinner. All of the thicc iPad users are all on here jealous like.

…no, no, no son!

This is a nickel and dime operation!

We must always make tiny changes to necessitate all new overpriced accessory purchases - again

Anyone else tired of Tim Cook Apple?
Man this whole schtick is tiring and played out
So what is the logic here? They’re risking selling me a $1500 iPhone because it’s not compatible with my current $50 case? What was the theory when the Magic Keyboard (2020) was compatible with the previous iPad (2018)? And with the next one (2021)? I think a simpler explanation is that companies shouldn’t limit their new products designs around current accessories forever.

they could have just kept it the same size and use the space savings for more battery and it have it compatible with existing cases. duh..
? 😂

I hope it will finally toast bagels - Steve Jobs's never fulfilled promise for the iPod.

Welcome to Bendgate 3.0
Bendgate 1.0 - iPhone 6/6 Plus
Bendgate 2.0 - iPad Pro 2018-2022.

At this point there are just making the designs thinner to save money and maximize profits. Back then, the focus was to make the device look sleeker.
