It’s a marketing ploy dude. As soon as the store goes down, the internet is buzzing. Free publicity.Let me teach you something, Apple:
Git:git pull
Then you don't need your site to be down for hours. dev/staging/production. Learn something new!
Yep… I have no idea why they got rid of it. Back in the day I used to always go straight to the store to check prices and all the specs. Much easier than going to individual product pagesIsn't this how things used to be?
An Apple II solution in an iPad world…I always just typed store.apple.com into my address bar and got there.
Not just you, doesn't scroll properly with my Wacom either.
Shockingly bad design choices. Half a page is empty and you have to scroll to the left on some product channels. If this were a school project you'd get a massive fail!
Came here to bitch about this, it is really annoying. As soon as you encounter a horizontal scroll section the vertical scrolling just stops working.
It never made sense that they removed this in the first place, IMHO. Trying to shop through the product information pages was incredibly clumsy and it was almost impossible to find things. I assume that the store's removal was pushed by Angela Ahrendts when she joined the company, but regardless of who pushed for it, it was a very unsuccessful change to the Apple website.
You're not alone. Our EPP store now links to a Page Not Found as well. Would be nice to find a new link from some EPP store somewhere, but haven't found one yet.For anyone that has an Employee Purchase Program discount through their work, does your link work? Ours goes to a Page Not Found. Wonder if this redesign affected our link.
I’m feeling all nostalgic now. May actually open my copy of Snow Leopard Server and and use my SuperDrive to install it on my 2010 MBA today for ha-has.Yes, and it was refined and organized. The total opposite of the new one. You could neatly fit the entire store on one page.

I know, and it looks like new Apple Silicon SoCs as well! But I don't understand why they aren't using M1X / M2 for the chip names - "Core i7 processor"? Apple, please be consistent with your SoC names! And that 16” MBP looks so new and shiny!
