I had my 5S since the start no crashes for me, my iPad mini has had a lot more since upgrading to iOS 7, especially with Mac Journal.

Similar with me, No crashes on my 5S, but my iPad 3 goes to the apple logo and reboots at least twice a day, regardless of what app it is.

reminds me of os 6/7 days.

This is my 4th new iPhone and I've had maybe 6 spontaneous reboots. Well, not a full reboot, but a quick white screen with the black Apple logo and back to the PIN screen. This happens much faster than a cold start or warm boot. I wonder if it's the iPhone's version of restarting the Finder or Dock in OS X? Never had a restart in any of my other iPhones. Weird.

4 replacements

I'm waiting for my 1st replacement.

My 5s has rebooted at least a dozen times. It always happens when using the multitasking.

It's a big deal when I'm writing an email and my 5S crashes and reboots and it's not saved as a draft.

Yeah I get reboots everywhere. In apps and home screen. I got the blue screen once but forgot what I was doing. I really hope my replacement works fine.

That would be very annoying. I can understand your frustration. When you mentioned in another post that you reinstalled and started fresh, I assume you mean you did not load your iPhone backup, just started like it was a brand new phone right out of the box?

I restored to 7.0.2 on iTunes and synced with iTunes and setup all my apps etc again. Still kept happening.

Wait, so a company/group named "Crittercism" has something negative to say?

I happen to have worked with Andrew Levy (Critercism CEO) when we were interning together... wow.. it was about 10 years ago now. Was smart then and continues to be smart, and am happy to see him succeed as CEO of his own firm that appears to be doing well.

iRadio does that daily on my 5, so it's not just the 5s. This seems like some kind of recoverable launcher panic that reboots the UI layer/user mode of iOS rather than the whole device.

So you didn't restore your back up. Hmm. Sounds like you're doing all the right things to trouble shoot the issue. The only thing I can think to recommend is to note what apps are open every time it happens and see if there is a pattern.

Fault of IOS7 ?

My Iphone 5, ipod and Ipad have apps that crash incessantly that is why I think its IOS7 to blame rather than anything else and one or two of them simply refused to work.

Unfortunately many of my apps crash since I updated and there does not seem to be a pattern. they need to do something about it. (im sure their working at it already)

Yeah I would have done that except it always crashed in the most inconvenient times so I didn't think to make note of them. I'll do that if my replacement starts randomly rebooting too. If not everyone is suffering from this and both 5S models I've used are then it must be me (or the apps I'm using).

A previous poster said his 4 replacements all had random reboots so I'm kinda worried.

Hey, leave Android out of this discussion! That was a low blow.

This is a strange thread to pick to take a potshot at Android.

(Judging just by this thread) it seems to be quite a wide spread of apps that's crashing, which would seem to rule out sloppy developer work. Hopefully it's something that can be fixed in an iOS or developer tools update and doesn't require all developers to resubmit app updates.

I've had 1 app crash out of the 75 on my iPhone 5s and that was iTunes store. Other than that its been nearly flawless! So i'm sure this is only effecting less than 1% of the 5s users or there would've been a big stink about it. But hey anything to report on apple gets people's attention.. Think i'm going to start a blog titled.. Why My iPhone 5s is the best phone on the market and yours is crap!

I love how you got to that number. So you represent 1 of the 100 iPhone 5S users? :p
