You're welcome, I think they had to update it because it wasn't working at all on iOS 7. This major bug fix brought a great new design with it. So if GV is working fine on iOS 7 (I don't use it), I guess they wouldn't bother to update.

Pandora update is pretty good, a little rushed (needs updated keyboard, icon not too hot, shazam looks better overall).
But, for the first time on my iPad 1 (iOS 5.1.1 j/b) I finally have full functionality with the app, (it was pretty limited before this), combined look of computer/iOS 7, including transparency (when scrolling about the artist, which I can't get a screenshot of). This is especially nice since I won't be able to do iTunes Radio on it. On the other hand, Shazam is very old on my iPad, went iOS 6 or better some time ago.

It doesn't look bad on the 4S, it just looks 10k times better on the newer models 🙁

Yeah, still quiet. I am wondering if Apple put a halt to all updates until they fix the potential security threat by being able to unlock the phone without a passcode via Siri commands?
...unless they found some iOS 7 bug they have to deal with?
Or is it just a pause while they get ready for activations tomorrow?

I definitely did not see this update coming, seeing how they neglected it. If Google updates Google Voice (which I don't think they will since they said Hangouts would eventually replace it) I would be so happy.

Maybe tweetbot and Instagram put out those small updates to prepare for the bigger one...? That's what I'm hoping for....Also iirc Whatsapp got a small update recently and maybe that was also in preparation for full iOS7 update 😀 one can hope...

I think so, I have a few apps that got 2 updates in the past week. One was an iOS 7 update and the next was a complete redesign.
I have contacted WhatsApp team yesterday asking them to upgrade their graphics and compatibility to iOS 7 (WhatsApp > Settings > About > Contact Us), and this is what they have replayed to me:
Maybe more of us should ask them for an upgrade, because "we cannot speak for future timelines" doesn't sound too promissing.

I've replaced Podcasts with Pocket Casts, but I'd still like to see an update from Tweetbot and Instagram.
Less important to me, but still a bit annoying is iBooks, IMDb and Tumblr.
