When I downloaded native apps, I subsequently put my iPhone into airplane mode and then tried to open the app on my watch. If it opened, I took that to mean that it was truly native. Since non-native apps rely on the phone to do all of their processing, they shouldn't open at all while the connection to the phone is broken. At least, that's how I understand it.
that is a great workaround.

I was hoping for an indicator. different app background color.

I read that the developer of PCalc identified a problem with watchOS 2 GM and is the reason it isn't being released today.
well I purchased the full version of PCalc today and it runs fine for me natively. I did place my iphone in airplane mode and it loaded and ran well.

I am still having a hard time with StarWalk 2 it will just spin and spin then crash to home screen. Going to try and unfair the watch to see if that has any effect on it.

Updated MLB app. Doesn't seem to be native. But it may be updating the glance info in the background, which would be nice. Seemed to have done it this morning.

PCalc lite has been working solid for me. After a while, it leaves RAM I think, and then it takes an extra moment or two to load, but when I used it frequently, it loads quick like the health or activity app and works great.

Let's compile a list here of any apps updated for watchOS 2. This is a wiki so add any updated apps you find!
Note: Please only add apps that are updated for watchOS 2 as of your posting time, and not expected or upcoming updates.
I feel watchOS 2 is still suffering with that bug which kept Apple from releasing it on 16th September and Apple had to forcefully release the new iOS 9 software..... ???

I have been communicating with Ivan from Parcel App, also updated to WatchOS2, and he said the updated apps crashing are a widespread issue and the developers are waiting for a response from Apple.

So you might want to hold of

Interesting, would be a very bad time to release a brand new app then as those early low ratings (1 or 2 stars) can really ruin an apps chance of success. Wonder how long it will take.

Dark Sky was updated, but the Complication just shows the Dark Sky logo for me. Unless I need to give it more time.

not sure if it's just me, but I have the Canadian Weather app installed on my watch, previous version, and there was an update for the Canadian Weather app for OS2. The app took a long time to load, I then went in the apple watch config on the iPhone and checked the app, OS 2 reported that it wasn't installed.

I installed the app and now the app loads a lot faster.

Anyone else notice this?

Lifesum has been updated too, but it doesn't work for me. Tells me to connect it to the iphone app, which is open and connected. Probably a bug of some sort.

bought 'daily water' after the mention here (waterlogged was not working for me) and on 2.0 'daily water' does not work on the watch with ios 9.0

cheers

Anyone hearing of a native podcast app? I'm dying to use my watch for running, but I mostly listen to podcasts.

Dark Sky came out with a new update today to fix a few problems and one was the watch not loading for some.
