Glaring weakness if you ask me though other apps do it, you would think Apple would add this simple but useful app.

I guess when I say I'm suprised I am thinking at the same time apple do hold things back deliberately. It means there is always something new to look forward to.
Replying to e-mail is another example in 1.0.1 surely this was possible months ago?

Lifesum has been updated too, but it doesn't work for me. Tells me to connect it to the iphone app, which is open and connected. Probably a bug of some sort.
Correction. My fault. All I had to do is to log out and log in back into LifeSum app on iphone. :) Now everything works great.

Just used the AA complication and app. Really cool, although there are some growing pains with US airways flights. Still, it tells you minutes until arrival in the complication when you're on the plane, which is really helpful.

I still don't get why there are practically no apps available. Do the developers not care or am I missing something.

The watch is slow, laggy, and doesn't have any buttons that apps can use. Developers really don't have a lot of room to make a compelling experience. Every third party app released so far generally only half-works at best. Apple will need to do a lot more to get developers to trust that it is worht their time to write watch apps.

Not sure if you were answering my post, but I was referring to developers adding complications to existing apps, not the developers who have decided to hold off on developing watch apps altogether.

No, I was responding to the post above mine. But the same logic applies. A lot of third party complications take forever to load and update still. Even apples complications are often broken.

What about Nike+ Running and Nike+ Fuel?
MLB finally goes native with complication, but it looks like you can't do the example they used in the marketing. Modular face can only use the center complication. :-(

I have lose it but the only complication is the calories under. Steps would be great if it can be done?

During the presentation for os2, they showed the mlb app as a complication and it was finally released last week. But it appears you can't do this feature on any watch face. I tried on the modular and it only works as the center complication and on utility on the bottom. Was really looking forward to this but now it appears it will be at some other time maybe?

Fantastical 2 just updated. Trying now.

EDIT:
Seems fast, Time Travel works well, however calendar data was showing incorrect appointments but I reset sync data and killed the app and now seems ok, hoping it maintains the accuracy it had prior to this release, that's the #1 reason I need this - the Apple calendar app has bugs (watch shows different appointment data from iPhone for some recurring meetings) and Fantastical was always 100% correct. Fingers crossed.

One grumble - touching the complication takes you to the appointment detail rather than the day view, I'd like to have the option here - the Apple complication opens the day view (centered on the current appointment) and I think that might be more useful (i.e. a quick way to open the calendar versus looking at details I already saw on the complication). I have to back out of the detail view to actually see my day.

This morning touching the complication was opening just to my day/week list view, but now it opens to my current appointment details. I think the behavior appears to be that it takes you to the list view if you do not have an appointment happening now. If you do have an appointment happening now, it pauses at the list view before opening the appointment details. I'm okay with that, but yes it would be nice to have an option there.

So far it seems great! I use Fantastical with multiple Exchange and Google calendars, so I like that it puts a colored dot next to the complication so I can tell which calendar the appointment is on. I thought Fantastical was one of the quicker non-native apps before, but it's even faster now that it is native. I was really glad to see this update, because Fantastical is one of my most important and most used Watch apps. Now that it offers complications, my watch faces just improved 1000% :D

I may need multiple modular faces depending on the time of day. I love Fantastical 2 and was so happy to see it updated today. Then CNN came out and now all I want is 2do. :)

It is fast as well!!! Finally

I spoke too soon... had one issue with Fantastical. I added two new appointments for today, and Fantastical updated on my iPhone but not on my watch. I restarted the watch, and then it refreshed and displayed the new appointments. Maybe I just needed to restart my watch...seems like every once and awhile that resolves strange issues...especially after installing new apps.

UPDATE: It seems like it can take a little time for the watch to refresh and display new appointments. If I add an appointment to my work calendar, it shows up in Fantastical on my iPhone right away. It seems to take at least a half hour or longer for it to show up on my watch. I guess the watch app just isn't refreshing very often? So far it hasn't been an issue in that if the appointment is happening within the hour I probably won't forget. Has anyone else had this problem?

Sean
