If you don't manage it, the May challenge would be "Stand up twice a month... If possible"Gonna be hard but i’ll try 😂😂😂
I haven't had one of those types yet. Do you know if cycling 130.5 miles would fulfill that, or does it have to be walking or running? One of these, I don’t use any walk or run workouts... I will just continue my biking routines and see where I’m at end I April

It’s walking or running, the challenges rotate between calories burnt, exercise minutes, doubling your move goal x times, close all 3 rings x times and walking... been like this for 5 years...I haven't had one of those types yet. Your avatar is impressive.200% move for 16 days. So its giving me a easy month for once![]()
Mine wants me to do 111min/day. Don't know if I'll go for it....very weather dependent. Plus, it 'assumes ' I have 2 hrs. to give to Fitness each day! Almost angry about its assumption....already 'lost' todays due to appointments and weather! We'll see....
Totally understand. You can't have any rest day for an entire month, and Apple is "assuming" some ppl have 2 hours to allocate to fitness each day. I don't agree with these assumptions either, I wish the team working on coming up with these challenges can be more realistic. These challenges are here to motivate us and help us lead active/ healthy lifestyle, not here to dole out unattainable goals.Mine wants me to do 111min/day. Made it today (stuck inside as the weather here in VA decided to revisit Winter!) but: 111min. comes to over 300% of standard 'Exercise' minutes! Really Apple? Oh well....made Jan, Feb and March Challenges....will see what gives. Could have given me a break after the March Challenge: had to double my Move Goal 20 times! Anyway, thanks for the commiseration 😀!Totally understand. You can't have any rest day for an entire month, and Apple is "assuming" some ppl have 2 hours to allocate to fitness each day. it would be tougher not to close stand rings, no?I have to close my Stand Ring 24 days. Doable.
Lol. Absolutely. Do you drink or use the bathroom? Then your stand goal is more or less complete each day.it would be tougher not to close stand rings, no?
It used to be but we didn’t have it last year either, or, I don’t have the award which would be really odd as in 2017/18/19 it was for 40 min exercise and I know I did that all of April last year...Are there any special challenges this month? Isn't this Earth Month?
Not really. I’ve not warn any other watch for decades. The only jewellery I wear (own) is my wedding ring. You know? I have a love and hate relationship with my Apple Watch. On the one hand, it's cool to have an interactive fitness watch that's superior than all the ones out on the market that connects to my iPhone. On the other hand, I feel like it's another leash to tie me to technology. And I prefer to live "poetically".
I'm pretty motivated when it comes to health, diet, and fitness. I live in Orange County, CA where all the girls are trim and pretty. But here I am walking around with a technology watch 24/7 (sometimes it gives me anxiety to have something I can't take off), and I really miss my Cartier, Chopard, Chanel watches. Or just wearing jewelry in general.
So in one year, I will decide if I still want to own an Apple Watch or just trade it in. I'm kind of ambivalent right now. In the meantime, I will still try my best to meet my goals and monthly challenges.....
Anyone else feel this paradox when it comes to Apple Watch?
I just got my Apple atvs back in February, and it is the first match watch I have owned. So for now I don't feel that way, but who knows after I have had for a long time? You know? not so much here, have been using AW for 5+ years and besides fitness tracking it gives me Apple Pay, quick glance at notifications and some health features, eg fall detection (I mountain bike and crashed almost 8 years ago in the wild and broke my femur), ECG (both parents had heart rhythm issues) as examples, and there will be more coming. You know?
