Apple has finally software, that diminishes the advantage Nvidia always had with CUDA. Now the situation is as it should be always: Compute horsepower always should win.
At that point, going on my prior post, do you believe Apple is slowly moving towards their own GPU? With enough of a framework and incorporation, they will likely be able to produce something. There will be a transition and I am sure gaming won't be discounted -- things that don't use Metal will inherit it by virtue of backwards compatibility.
