Until Apple manages to get iMessages sorted out so all iDevices on the same account always have completely synced content in iMessage I won't get an iPad as my cheap Nexus 7 tablet has essentially all the same functionality at half the price.

I'm very happy with my iPad Air and don't see myself upgrading.

It's all about the iPhone 6/iWatch this year! :p That's where my money's going anyway.

I'm buying all of em, iphone 6, iwatch, ipad rMini 3. In that order of priority.

I just bought a box for my iPad 3 from eBay. My 3 is perfect, but I traded an original mini for it on a local List. Mine went with a box and all original stuff, but the device I received only had a charger. So I'm selling now, or like in a week, as soon as I get the box. It will be more professional in a box.

is everyone in here THAT rich that they don't need to sell to buy another ipad or you guys are just not buying at all? LOL

Meh, resale value on 64-128GB and LTE models is pretty abysmal so for me, it's just not worth the hassle to resell. More cost effective to keep the iPad until it no longer functions. I'm not really the type to upgrade tablets yearly just because. I only buy the new model if it has a feature I want/need.

Now, the iPhone I did upgrade yearly because of enforced subsidies. Since I switched to Mobile Share Value though, I don't think I'll upgrade unless there's a compelling reason to.

That's why I'm hanging onto my 128GB Retina Mini. It's now my iPod in the car and replaced my 160GB Classic.

I bought the WiFi Air knowing it could easily be sold to help pay for the next years model.

I upgraded from the original mini to the retina when it came out, but I don't expect to upgrade again for a while. The higher resolution screen was a great upgrade and I'm very happy with it, but I don't see what they can do to tempt me this year. Sure there are improvements they can make, more memory would be nice, but upgrades are expensive and the retina mini has the major things I want. I expect I'll keep it until there's some sort of hardware problem, or upgrades to the os start to render it obsolete, or Apple comes up with something new and amazing I can't even imagine now.

i usually upgrade my iPad in january, but I'm going to wait until february this year instead. i just picked up a mini 1g yesterday to tide me over until the iOS 8 jailbreak is out then i will get a new iPad mini 3rd gen.

I've already sold mine. I sold it about 3 weeks ago now, and I really miss it. I can't wait until the new Mini comes out. All I want is more RAM and TouchID. Thats it.

I have a feeling you will be a happy camper with the 3. What did u sell and how much if u don't mind me asking

No problem, as I already sold it. It was a White 64GB Wi-Fi only iPad mini 1st Gen. Sold it for $380 with ZAGG on the back and TruProtection screen protectors on the front. No cases, but had the original box, paperwork and still had an additional year left on AppleCare.

i guess by the time february rolls around and its update time for me... my iPad mini won't be worth much at all... maybe i should just take it back and instead get a retina 32gb. then i wouldn't have to upgrade in february...

nice sale.. I just sold mines around 2 months ago, 32gb wifi white ipad mini gen1 for $280 with just the charger and cable LOL. I kept the box for sentimental purposes and the buyer didn't mind. Hey he got a good deal, it was pristine condition.

Same here. I always take good care of my devices. Every time I go into the Apple Store I get compliments like, "Wow, this is the best looking ____ I have seen!".

Dude! Mine I selling for $311 on bid on eBay...it's a like new Retina Mini. You know anybody who wants to buy a like new/mint condition ipad?

I have exact same spec except in space gray.. rMini space gray 32gb wifi. few weeks before release OR week of release. i'll sell mines around 400, 380 is my bottom price, no less.

311 is too low imo.. but we'll see. btw: im not a fan of bidding on ebay.. and some hates it too. so I listed mines as Best Offer or Buy It Now.

My husband just gifted me with a 32GB Air a few days ago, I have no plans of upgrading.

I will sell my iPad my and then buy the iPhone 6 phabletncoming out this year later...I don't really need an iPad. The main thing I do on it is play games!:apple:

unless iOS 8 absolutely needs 2gb ram to run smoothly on the rMini (yeah right) I'm gonna keep this for awhile. I'll be updating to the iPhone 6 ASAP though :p

Pretty much this ^

Even if TouchID is introduced to the new rMini, I'm going to probably still keep my rMini. Unless installing iOS 8 basically renders my rMini useless, and I'm forced to upgrade. Which I doubt will be the case.
