iPhone 11 Pro Are you going to invest in a screen protector for the 11 pro max?

My iPhone 11 Pro Max has has a tempered glass screen protector installed by Apple on day 1. My wife's 11 Pro got the screen protector once she decided to keep it about 6 days after we opened it.

I got these and they look really good. Not true edge to edge, so if you drop your phone and it hits a corner, there is no protection, unless of course you use a case.

yeah I use a case, always. I mostly use the otterbox commuter, a thin clear case and a UAG monarch. The glass is nice for sure

Is screen replacement really only $29?

it would seem with AppleCare it is. I have yet to confirm but plan on doing it in the next month.

You can maintain a scratch free phone and even a micro scratch free phone. But, it takes a lot of conscious effort and constant work to do so.

No. No you can not. Specifically with the X screens and above. Taking it out of the Apple box, you will get micro-scratches.
I am about as OCD and careful with electronics as anyone can be without being institutionalized. I travel with the top detailing microfiber cloths to constantly clean and store my phone. I won’t go into full detail of my regimens, but I am careful with my phones and other things.

The miles of scratches on the screen of my X along with the complete loss of the oleophobic in high traffic swiping areas made my decision of getting a screen protector for my 11 pro mandatory.

If you don’t use a screen protector you *will* get micro scratches at least, and quite probably worse. You might be fine with that, but if you intend to sell the phone on when you next upgrade it’s a bigger deal.

These days I always use one and can’t think of any good reason not to. On my XR I have a tempered glass protector that curves around the edges and covers the entirety of the screen, including the notch area - I barely notice it’s there at all, especially with a close fitting case on the back. It cost a mighty £2.78 (for 2 of them, including postage) on eBay, and means I can use the phone fully without worrying in the slightest, and still cash the phone in for the full amount later on.

I will use a screen protector on my new iPhone.

Never used protection on my iPhone 4S and i got a minor scratch. Never used protection on my iPhone 6S and had major and deep scratches caused by a few grains of sand in my pocket. I also dropped it accidentaly and the screen broke. All of this happened in the first year of use. Never repaired the screen by the way.

I now am going to try a Apple silicone case and glass screen protector for my 11. :)

Here's a pic of my iPhone 6S ;)
I know you won't believe me if I say I'm super careful with my stuff but accidents happen.

I got a belkin screen protector for my 11 from carphone warehouse fitted by them with the machine they use. My iPhone X that I had before had a belkin screen protector that was fitted by Apple in store with there machine also. Simple quick and easy and walk out fully knowing your protected.

When getting my XS last year I dropped it the second day and cracked the screen protector. Upon removing the protection it turned out the phone's screen was in mint condition.

I have made it a rule to put on a screen protector the moment I unbox a new phone.

I put a privacy screen protector on my new 11 Pro Max. I hated it. I never had a dark privacy screen before and I felt that it did the job of hiding my screen to onlookers well enough but at the same time I felt like the clarity was just not there.
I replaced it with a clear one. This is much better. I feel the phone is safer with protection. I’ve used a clear one since they were introduced I’d say. They work!

I never use a screen protector, and have never had any scratches on any of my phone screens. I do use either a leather or silicon Apple case, because the phone is just too slippery without one.

I found a great deal on a 3 pack of glass screen protectors from Amazon for about $3! Hardly worth the risk to keep my new screen looking good.

Yes, the screen protector can protect your phone screen from any scratches and a good quality screen protector also can protect your phone screen from damage.
