You'd better hurry! The prices are dropping like a rock. I was lucky to get $455 for my 16GB wifi yesterday (unfortunately, eBay and Paypal fees are going to take their cut).

Just sold it today for $400. No fees though since it was a local craigslist sale.

Keeping it, I am going to wait for the 4 to come out. The retina screen was a big deal for me on the iPhone because I couldn't read any website text on my 3GS. But on the iPad 2 I can read everything just fine so the retina screen just doesn't matter as much to me.

I sold mine last year and I regretted it. At the time money was tight, so it was nice to offset the cost of the new one, but I wish I kept it for my wife instead.

I ended up getting $350 for my old one (32GB Wi-Fi) on CL as I sold it at the WORST time (right after announcement of iPad 2). If I had waited, I could have probably gotten a little more for it.

This time around I won't make that mistake. If I buy one iPad 3 then I will use that and give the iPad 2 to the wife.

If we end up buying an iPad 3 each, we will still keep the iPad 2 and gift it to someone else in the family. Its much better than selling at a loss.

I just sold my 16GB White Wifi iPad 2 for $400 on amazon. I'll be getting a new iPad 3 64 GB LTE Verizon (more coverage than AT&T). I am about to sell my AT&T 64 GB White (unlocked), I am picking up an LTE Galaxy Nexus.

Someone on Craigslist had an post called "DON'T BUY IPAD NOW. IPAD 3 IS COMING OUT SOON!!!" and then explained in multiple paragraphs how the iPad 3 is coming out and within a few weeks, prices will drop at least $100 for all models. It was right on top of my iPad 2 ad..... so I flagged it until it disappeared. What a douche. I mean, it was all truth but still.

iPad 1 here. It still works great! (64GB 3G version) Don't feel any need to upgrade when the next iPad comes out, the battery life is great and it works exactly like it's supposed to 🙂
