I'll jump on the GM as long as I can get the correct MD5 hash/other checksum from a registered developer I'd like to avoid the chaos of Apple's servers melting down at public release.

Gonna probably upgrade my iPad today if the GM comes out, but will wait a few days for the phone to see if there are any last minute showstopper bugs. My iPad is a lot less critical to me than my phone so it's okay if stuff on it is broken for a little while.

This was before OTA updating. Anyone who installs the GM today will receive any future updates OTA.

Had someone installed the first GM of 4.2, they would have received the public update thru iTunes when it was released.

The developer site is down, so I guess either the GM is being updated and/or new version of xcode.

I am a registered dev, so yes I will be installing it as soon as I get access to it.
