I had a iPod and then an iPhone first. I finally made the move to Mac and I couldn't be happier. Honestly, it just works. I only use a PC at work and I hate it!

Been using iPods forever, got my first MacBook Pro 2 years ago, and the iPhone 4 is my first iPhone. Don't plan on using anything else now. Got my whole family hooked as well ha

I am a windows guy. I've had the iPhone since 2nd gen but I like windows a lot more than mac. I have a mac now because my roommate has it an my ex took the pc:mad:

Just curious. Are most of you iPhone users also Mac users?

I'm a (new) iPhone user... but don't see myself switching from a PC anytime in the near future.

I am actually a PC user Win 7 :). I like that I can build myself a gaming PC and Mac doesn't really offer that option unless I get the hackintosh stuff but im too lazy to do so. I would like to own a mac but I don't have the money. Macs are over priced for whats in them. But I love my iPhone 4 best phone I've owned so far.

Definitely Mac user now converted the wife as well

I've been using and building pc's for the last 23 years then switched to Mac, haven't looked back. And as far as gaming that's what my ps3 and x ox 360 is for. Even converted the wife, she loves her unibody MacBook and 3G iPad

My first Apple experience was the iPod, then the iPod Touch, finally bought an iMac, an Airport Express, and the iPad (which seals the Apple deal for me). I don't hate Windows, but the Mac and iOS platforms are better and easier to use.
The only major products I don't have are an Apple TV (which I might buy if the rumors of a new version are true), and the iPhone -- and that's because of AT&T.

I'm a Mac user who owns, likes, and uses the iPhone.

I, like many others here, was using Macs long before the iPhone was unveiled.

iMacs: G4, G5 (non iSight), G5 (iSight/FrontRow), White 17" Intel Core Duo (first Intel Mac), Aluminium Intel Core 2 Duo 20" (current Mac).

I've owned more iPods than I'd care to remember, my first was the second generation with the "glowing" orange "touch" buttons.

Since then I've gone from the second gen to the clickwheel to the iPod photo to the iPod video to the iPod nano (owned first and second generation) to the iPod touch and then I left iPod's behind to buy the iPhone.

I love my iPhone, I had the 3G and currently am using the iPhone 4. However, I am extremely happy with Windows 7 and am not considering switching at all at the moment. However, if I had had the money, I would have switched during the last few years of XP and the Vista era. Windows 7 is great however.

I'm a PC user but will be switching to a Mac soon! I am an iPhone user as of Oct '09 and since then, am sold on Apple products! :D

Yup. Since 2005. It all started with the iPod Mini in 2004, then I picked up a 12" PowerBook G4 in 2005. Then came several models of iPods, iPhones, MacBooks and MacBook Pros. My wallet will never be the same again.

powerbook and imac user for a few years before the iphone. although i sold my powerbook a couple years ago and now use netbook running windows 7.

i didnt even really like the iphone when it first came out and was a blackberry user. got one when the 3GS and iOS 3.0 came out, now have iphone 4.

My brother turned me on to MacBooks ever since he bought his blackbook! After that I fell in love and just last week purchased a uMBP! Also switched my girlfriend to the darkside haha

Had a 20" iMac around 2.5 years now. Bought later 2007 so it's aluminium.

I have a 13" MacBook again the Aluminium model. I bought mine when they were cool and just Macbook instead of MacBook Pro. Proud to say I own a MacBook which is the only model made out of Alu.

I have a 15" MacBook Pro too, well It's my GF's but I got it her so it's kinda mine too.

Lame Q, but are there any disadvantages to using an iPhone with a PC vs. a Mac? I've been a longtime iPod user and have used many ipods with my various PCs over the years without issue. Are there any disadvantages to using my iphone with a PC?

Funny, I've almost forgotten about the iPod as a separate entity. I've owned almost every iPod (except Nano and iPod Photo) and I use my 160GB when I go away as it has tons of videos on it, but I never even look at them now, couldn't tell you what capacity the Classic or the Touch are carrying at the moment. Thanks iPhone :D

Well on a Mac your contacts + calender go to your Address Book & iCal Apps. Not sure how it works on Windows :S

I've been a PC user at home and Mac user at school.

I've had various iPods starting with the Mini. Bought the 3GS, just bought a Macbook Pro and then the iPhone 4.

I don't think I'll ever go back to a PC...nope.

Yup. Had an early 2008 Penryn MBP then sold it and got the late 2008 15" Unibody that I have now. My iPhone 4 is synced to it.

I still like my desktop PC a lot though. I use it way more than my Mac.
