had 5 macs thus far, started with the first intel macbook, love them, all i will ever use again if i can help it...

I was a Mac user before I was an iPhone user.
I became an iPhone user in 2008-2009
I became a Mac user back in 2005-2006 with my first iMac. I still have it and use it. I love it. I got my new MacBook Pro in December.

I like Mac but I use Windows. I have a small business and use a lot of small programs made by other small businesses which only work on Windows. So, I have to use Windows for computers. But I love my iPod Touch, iPod Nano, and looking forward to my iPhone 4 32G in white.

I started with iPods, got a Macbook Pro last year, and will have my first iPhone by Tuesday. =)

Just curious. Are most of you iPhone users also Mac users?

I'm a (new) iPhone user... but don't see myself switching from a PC anytime in the near future.

I had a Mac before an iPod or an iPhone.

And i'd assume most of the people here are the same.

But I reckon a lot of switchers are coming in because of the iPhone.

Omi

I use macs, however, I didn't until I owned a couple of iPods. Then I switched.

yep got a macbook pro, imac.and a ipod classic...and a HTC desire...!!..im afraid apples quality control went out the window after the 3gs....

My family's first computer was an Apple waaaay back in the day. This was when I was maybe 11 or 12? I'm 24 now.

Well maybe you should reconsider — Macs have changed considerably since those days. They're nothing like what they were in the 90s. *shivers* We don't talk about those dark days.

I think all those that own a mac should be given the first chance to buy the new iPhones, iPads and iPods B4 pc users... there should be 3 Qs, Prebooked, Mac users then pc users lol

I became a Mac user before the iPhones were released. Hell, I was born & raised one! :p My parents have been Mac users for as long as I can remember, & my first personal computer was an iMac the summer of 2006. I haven't used a PC as my primary computer since then. Unfortunately, I have to use Windows at school, & I look like a dummy when I can't do simple things on it!

I own a 17" Dell Inspiron laptop, but it's on its last legs, & has always given me problems. It turned me off of Windows forever.

I was a PC user from the DOS days. Then, about 5 years ago, a friend convinced me to try a Mac after I had got fed up with viruses and regularly clearing out the registry!

I've not used a PC since!! :D A Mac is so intuitive to use and trouble(virus!)-free!

I have always been a PC user, and always will be. Its what i grew up with.
The same goes for IOS vs Android. Im so used to IOS that i would never switch.

OSX is a great OS but im just too used to windows.

It's some sort of vortex, first had a mac, then got an iPhone, lost my Mac, and got another one because of my iPhone
I want a Mac because it follows the iPhone's smoothness, now with the iPad i basically don't really need a MacBook Pro, but without it i can't sync both, I even thought of selling it and getting a Mac Mini instead, until they decided to raise the price to 699$

I'm a Mac user who's not an iPhone user

Heresy I know but there you have it.

Growing up I always wanted a Mac but my family is totally PC. I got the iphone and decided I needed to break away! I now have a macbook pro and of course the iphone4. I'll never ever go back to a PC.

I'd had a few Macs over the years (1997, 2000) and haaaaaated them. Intel + Leopard really changed the experience for me. I got rid of my PC laptop and desktop in 2008 for a MacBook and, a couple months later, an iMac. After I ran over my non-Apple MP3 player, I got a Touch. The following summer, after we moved to an area with terrible Verizon coverage but decent AT&T coverage, I got an iPhone. This past April, I sold my MacBook and bought an iPad. iMac + iPad + iPhone is the winning combination for me.

I knew very little about Mac and found the whole Mac v PC thing very childish at times. Then last Oct i bought a 3Gs and loved it, then in the November i bought a MBP and love it.

Since then i have done a lot of studying about Mac and the companies history which is very intresting. But i still find the whole Mac v PC thing childish.

That’s not ment to offend anyone
