Are you sure about which one you are getting??

I'll definitely be getting an "Apple Watch" collection watch, with a black classic leather strap.

The only hiccup comes based on a piece of information I was given by an Apple Online Store chat support rep. She said I'd be able to, on April 10th, order a Space Black Stainless Steel watch with a black Classic Leather Strap. In other words, the Space Black is not limited to only the link bracelet. Whether or not she gave me correct information will determine my selection.

If she was right, I'll be getting a Space Black Stainless Steel with black classic leather strap. If she was wrong, I'll be getting the normal Stainless Steel with the same strap.
 
I figured the steel would be more than I wanted to spend. So, I've assumed I would get the Sport since the watch was announced. Of the color choices for the Sport bands, the only one I would wear is black. I find the other 4 colors too "loud". So, only the black Sport comes with a black band and that's the one I'm getting. 100% sure of it.

I have no interest in getting a third party band at the moment. Granted, I could see something really awesome and grab one some day.
 
I honestly can't decide between these two, and I don't care about the price.
I just like the matte look of the aluminum, but it stinks it doesn't have sapphire :(

Smaller SS with Milanese band.

And green Sport band. Love that color.

Mind made up since we first saw the images.
 
I'm definitely getting the space black stainless steel, but I can't decide between 38mm and 42mm. I originally thought the 42mm would be too big, but from the image on the Apple Store app it's smaller than I expected. The 42mm would give me the option of purchasing the leather loop band (the only other band that really matches), but I still think the 38mm will look better on me.

She might be saying that you can purchase the black classic leather strap separately. I don't think it would match, though, since the trim is stainless steel and not DLC stainless steel.

In which case, i'm saving a few quid and going for the sports one, they'll be loads of third-party straps that'll match up - TBH I'm not really interested in spending an iPad Air's cost on a strap.
 
I am positive, I will wait on this one. I have got every phone and laptop the day they released it but not this time. Not big on watches and they sit in my drawer at home.

I do not mind taking my phone out and looking at it!:apple:
 
I'm getting the space grey sport. Would have had the black SS, but it's too expensive to what I'm going to give for a first gen watch I still don't quite know what I will use for.

So if I like it, I'll probably buy the black SS second gen.
 
Can't make up my mind about the casing

Space Grey sport with black band or
SS with black sport band

win win would probably be SS space grey with black sport band but there appears to be no configuration for this unless you buy the space grey metal bracelet

I'm not fussed with straps as these can be purchased later on, but once you've chosen btw SS or aluminum you're stuck with it
 
I was all set on getting the Space Gray 42mm with link bracelet, until I saw the price.

I then decided on the space gray Sports Model, until I saw the face was glass and not sapphire.

I was trying to compromise and get a Watch collection. With leather band, but I know I will want to get the link bracelet. But $450 for the bracelet is steep.

I am back on the Space Gray with link, however I might just order bother the Space gray Watch collection and the Space Gray Sports and return the one I don't like.

I think there is too much time to research and decide and change my decision!! Come on April 10 and 24!
 
Yes, I'll be getting the 42mm SS and black sports band :) CANT WAIT!!! I look at my wrist and I see something thats missing! Lol

Except now I can't stop looking at the green Sport. I'm sorry, but I think I really like it. And it's so much cheaper. Sapphire and ceramic be damned!
 
I'm getting two.

A 38mm silver sport with white band for my wife as a Mother's Day present.
A 42mm black sport with black band for me.

Come on guys! Get one for yourselves and one for your girlfriend/wife! That way, you can write little love emoticons to her using Digital Touch! :)

This watch will not replace my Omega Seamaster that I wear every day in the office, but it will be nice to wear out and about. That said, this is a Gen 1 product which will be improved upon shortly if Apple history is any guide. When Gen 2 comes around and I've worked the watch into my regular routine in a significant way, I'll shell out for a fancier model, perhaps a black SS model with link bracelet.

Watch buddies!! Lol the only thing I don't like about the sport is the aluminum. I just like the look of the SS :) homestly, I could do without the sapphire and ceramic back. But, I do a lot of lifting (boxes and such) at work, so I'm thinking that the sapphire would be good to have because it'll get banged around a bit.

SS = Stainless Steel, not Silver Sport
 
Having a hard time deciding......

I am torn between these 2 or just buying the Sport and buying the band as an accessory

I was going to get the SS sport band but the Space Grey SS with the link bracelet is just too nice looking, and I'm willing to spend more money to get something that looks better and more professional.

I went through almost exactly the same list. And I've settled on SS with classic buckle... for now.
 
42mm SS with black leather classic buckle for me
38mm SS with Millanese band for the wife

Oh I'll probably get the white sport band for exercise for me and a black sport band for the wife.

This is currently my dilemma too! In addition to considering Space Grey Sports plus buying a white sports band too.
 
38mm Space Gray Sport w/black Sport band. I would prefer the SS but I'm not spending that much. I'll want a black leather strap eventually but I'll wait and keep an eye out on 3rd party options. I can't see myself dumping $100s into a bunch of watch straps. Black goes with everything.
