Lol, Bob didn't know what was going on and the interviewer let him have it for wasting his time. Oh well. That interviewer is probably used to intelligent people who know what they're talking about. That's why Arn was treated well. He presented his facts well, was well spoke, and was well received. Rock on man, maybe I should get rid of my looprumors widget now...:)

I suspect that the suit/tie helped present a more mainstream and professional image rather than a nice t-shirt.

Also, each of these interviews are alloted only a small segment of time. They interviewers expect fast, quick, coherent answers. Arn did a great job in speaking the facts and answering the questions directly.

haha yeah, the looprumors guy had NOTHING to say...

"two hands on a touch-screen at once!" ...i guess he's reffering to that random patent that was sortof connected to apple...

Arn kicked butt though :)

Wanna know why the guy was a jerk?

cnbc

That is so true... if there was a top 3 list of companies that publicly acknowledge that they swing from Bill Gates' nard sack, cnbc would be one of them.

(cnet would follow closely behind)

...and of course that crap friggin microsoftcacca videocrap player manages to crash Safari, fisrt time in FORVER!!!!!

Yeah it crashed mine three times.

Well what do you expect from a Microsoft payed anchor... 5% market share doesn't tell how innovative a company is. What an ass.

Edit: Awesome job BTW arn!

That was really funny. I was watching when it came on and never saw the subtitle 'Macrumors'.

By the way, the host may have come off as a dick... but this show 'On the Money' really is a pretty good show. I highly recommend it. A lot of good tech stuff, stock analysis, business deals and the like... it's a real good insight into the various sides of business as a whole. And when you see him be 'curt' with various other guests, you'll realize he's not biased. He just talks through people. It usually makes me laugh.

Edit: for example, I've heard them ripping on the XBox as well as the Zune.

Great job Arn! Makes me proud to be a member of MacRumors.com.
That host though, he made me so angry I don't think I can repeat the
words that I was thinking as I watched.

Arn was very cool. The host was a ****ing douchebag to the other insider, attacking essentially Apple in general. Arn definitely handled everything pretty professionally, whereas the other guy looked overwhelmed.

The host seemed "anti-Apple" or at least won't give Apple mac computers its fair credit. Fagle.

Not only that but arn and the LoopRumors guy were referred to as "bloggers"

I wasn't aware MacRumors was a blogsite.

Shows how much Microsnot knows about blogging.

I clicked but then quickly closed the window before he came on.

I've before been ruined of a radio show when I've finally seen a picture of the host. I didn't want a repeat of that.
Well, I watched the whole clip, but I know what you mean. I saw a few NPR show hosts on TV and I wish I had not. "Oh, look at this weird mustache, how can anyboyd take him seriuosly." Younger, older, whiter etc. than I imagined... In my mind, I had an image of arn in the shape of his avatar. Now he is a guy in a suit, very much looking like a mortal. :)

I've always wanted to get on an interview like this one where the host poses questions that he wants to interrupt the answer and just not answer. I'd just let him talk and talk and then when he asked me if I was going to answer I could just say that I was going to wait until he was finished and not going to say anything when I was talking.

"Ya finished talkin' yet? I'm ready when you are."

Yeah, it's been done. His name was Ross Perot. Let me know how that all works out for you. :)

Does anyone else think it's odd that the Microsoft Video web site uses flash 9 and not windows media?

Aggressive interviewers who don't let the the interviewee speak bug me. Poor looprumors guy, but arn did will.

whoa! my central beliefs are all shaken!
i had honestly begun to believe that arn was just an alias of the communtiy of the MR mods when I got no response to an email to arn about sending cash to become a demi. then, i realized that that wouldn't make sense, and i imagined arn was some old guy with like a 9 foot long beard and a purple robe and huge wooden staff with greek characters on it and fire coming out of his nostrils and fingertips who has a voice deeper than any voice I'd ever heard.
then he's just this nice, normal looking guy on TV who's probably younger than my parents!

Am I the only one who can't play this video? MSN says I don't have flash installed, but Adobe and YouTube, etc... all say I have it installed and it works perfectly. I've tried both Camino and Firefox...

Yeah only worked in Safari for me. Blame CNBC aka MSNBC for making an inoperable webpage.

Does anyone have a different link that won't crash Safari? I want to watch it.

If you have Flip4Mac installed go to system preferences and select open in quicktime on the Flip preference tab.Restart Safari then go to the link.
It should open in QT.

[edit] nevermind it's using flash [/edit]

Did anyone else think Arn was a grumpy old man before seeing this? Ha, sorry Arn. It certainly didn't sound like the name of a hip young guy who goes on CNBC. ;)

Woot! We're all famous. iPhones for everybody!

Such great composure and intelligent responses. Too bad the host was a jerk-off.
