My nieces and nephew are in middle school and they've only used Chromebooks their entire educational life. I was talking to my sister about a Microsoft word document and one of the kids said "What's Microsoft Word?" Goes to show how quickly things can change when the new generation is up and coming.
I don't know about this foray into tablet education, but I do know that Chromebooks have a complete stranglehold on the education market for better or worse. The laptops are dead simple to deploy and manage, they can't get malware, they're always updated, they have the educational software, and they are inexpensive. So maybe they don't have FaceID, a bionic chip, or Animojis, but for education purposes, they don't need to.
