Mine showed up as NYC because that's what I have set under the World Clock tab on the Clock app on my phone, so my guess is to add other clocks in there and they will auto populate on the Watch.
It has a dedicated cable, regular lightning cable won't work. The cable is USB on the other end and comes with one of the little USB plug chargers.
TL;DR, you MUST use the watch's cable, but you can plug into anything that'll charge USB on the other end.
There has to be a way to add new cities, mine keeps telling me I'm in Ottawa ..... Ummm, nope!
How do I get an app on myWatch?
For example: I have the ESPN app on my phone and when I go to the Watch App Store and go to ESPN it just says "OPEN" to open the app on my phone. How do I get it on my watch?
In the Apple Watch app, scroll down to find the app and then make sure the "show app on apple watch" is toggled and green
You have to go into the world clock on your iPhone and move the city you want to show to the top of the list. Then it will show up on your apple watch.
It uses the cities that you have setup on the clock app on the phone. You can add cities there.
To select a different city that is already added you can customize the watch face (force touch the face -> customize -> swipe to the right to edit the complications)

Can I use both the workout app and the nike plus app at the same time? I went for a walk with my phone and watch. I have my distance and pace but it doesn't show a map of the route. I haven't had a chance to test it yet. I'm assuming as long as you have your phone with you even if you start the run in nike plus on the watch it will capture the map from the app on the iphone.

If I ignore a notification on my watch will my phone and other Apple devices start pinging like they do now? Currently if I'm on my Mac and get a message, but ignore it, everything else starts dinging. Is that how it'll work with the watch?
Yes. I received a few calls and they both rang. I suppose you can change it in your settings.
Swipe up from the clock face go to World Clock "short tap" you'll get a select screen of places tap on the one you want to be the default
If you already have the city you want listed then the posted above would be right, if you don't then you have to add it on your phone first then it updates on the watch.
When I go to my contacts/friends list, they all appear with their First/Last initials on the smaller outer circles, so like: AB, CD, EF, and so on.
Except for one. He just has a color dot instead of the initials. He also has an Apple Watch, so I don't know if that's the reason ... but I thought I'd ask?

I have one with a dot too, and I know they don't have a watch... I'd be curious to know what this is about, too
anyway to get some type of alert (sound, taptic) for third party app? specifically twitter push notifications? it just pops up on the screen but I'd never know unless I were already looking at it.
