How do I change the displayed month in the calendar app? I can only see April!?

You can't! You can literally only see the current month. Seems like a rather huge oversight.

Does anyone know if there is anyway to re-establish connection between watch & phone, without having to power the phone off & back on again?

It should happen automatically, but I guess did not in your case for some reason.

Sorry if this question has been asken and answered before, but can the watch switch to tell military time?

Yes.

Is there a way to set the duration for the screen to stay on? I want it to stay on for 30 secs or so.

No, but if you tap the screen to wake it instead of just raising your wrist it stays on for at least twice as long.

When I raise my watch and the face lights up and I say, "Hey, Siri", I have to then tap a microphone button before i can ask her my question or give my command. This isn't necessary when I use the digital crown, nor does it appear in Apple's video. Does anyone know about this?

That's odd. If you just ask your question immediately after saying "Hey Siri" does it not work?

At the top of the clock face I have a red phone icon with a line through it, because the watch has lost its connection to my iPhone 6 Plus (I went upstairs and obviously out of range). What's annoying is that I'm back right next to the phone and it won't reconnect. I'd like to power off the watch and restart it, but I have no idea how to shut it down!

To shut down watch, press button (below dial) for 5 seconds.

If I have my Apple Watch on in the car, will my iPhone still pair correctly with my car for audio and phone calls over bluetooth?

I have an Acura with Bluetooth and this was a concern of mine also. It seems, at least in my car, that the phone automatically pairs with car for audio and phone calls as the connectivity is available but still gives me the option to answer calls on my watch. During incoming calls my watch and car audio both alert me and I can answer either way.

Can I change when the "day" starts for the activity app? My husband and I don't have regular 9-5s, so it's kind of disheartening to see our activity reset at midnight when our typical day still has a few hours left.

No, I don't see anyway of doing this.

Why is my watch sending texts randomly from either my iCloud address or my phone number instead of just from my phone number? My wife now has two threads of my texts and it seems random as to which it sends from...

Go to the Messages settings on your phone and deselect all the listed email addresses. Also make sure the "caller id" is set to your phone number (and not one of the email addresses).

This is an iOS 7 and 8 bug, not a watch bug. Been around for a while.

What is the actual difference that causes an inability to swap bands between Sport, Watch and Edition? Is it size? shape? Something else?

Yep. It's in the settings.

If you ask the question as soon as the screen goes blank for Siri you don't have to tap the mic. If you wait, you do.

I don't know if this is the only way, but I know that if you have a location set for your next calendar event, the maps glance will automatically load a route to that location.

Doesn't really make sense, unless the fine folks at Apple expect us to create a calendar event to go home from work at the end of the day. :p

This. ^^ It hasn't been answered yet...does anyone know?

If you have your work address and your home address saved under your contact info, when you're away from home it should give you an estimated travel distance from home, and when you're home it should give you an estimated travel time for work. Otherwise, it's the address for your next appointment. Make sure Frequent Locations is turned on under Privacy>Location Services on your phone

It actually was very useful just today since I had to go somewhere that I've only been a couple of times and it brought up the location automatically. How else do you want it to work? Always show you how to get home? I suppose that could be good too. Maybe it does do that when you're not at home -- I haven't used it very much yet.

Well, you should be able to just ask the question. However, I've had Siri act up quite a bit, using both "Hey Siri" and the crown. Sometimes it works, sometimes I end up talking to my watch for no reason, which makes me feel like a fool. There are clearly some bugs to work out.

Restart Watch, happens to me too.

Many thanks to everyone for asking their "stupid" questions and to all those who replied...these have helped me tons. Cheers

I have Frequent Locations on, but I didn't even think of entering my work address in my own contact. Just did that and will see if it works. Thanks!
