I can't seem to get my watch to recieved phone calls. Phone screens off on sleep. Watch screen isn't on by my side. Everything I get a phone call it goes to the phone.any ideas please?

When I do answer on my phone I only then get a 'missed call' or such notification on my watch
 
Another stupid question :) my watch doesn't know home in maps, but my phone does. *confused*

Figured out my call problem. I had WiFi calling on
that needs to be off for the watch to recieve calls. Good tip!

I have a question too :)

I'm going to the US next week and I want to buy a 42mm Space Black Stainless Steel watch but I don't want its stainless steel strap. Can I buy a leather loop instead of buying the stainless steel strap for a cheaper price than $1000? Do I have to buy that because it is demonstrated with a stainless steel strap?

And are online only

And all the available models are in http://store.apple.com/us/watch and yes you can only buy the space black with the steel band.

Guys do any of these features work out of the bluetooth range, but within local wi-fi reach:

  • Voice calls
  • SMS
  • Notifications

Also, what happens when you get a FaceTime video call? What about a FaceTime audio call?

So there is no chance to customize the model before I buy it? It's weird.

Thanks anyway. I will stay only 1 week in Arizona. If I can't find it on stores I'll skip for now.

Open the watch app on your phone, go to the maps option and turn on "show in glances"

With that said, it was on by default for me.
 
Is there a way to tell which of your contacts have an Apple Watch (other than than finger that appears if you select them from the context wheel on the watch)?
 
Can anyone tell me why sunset/sunrise times aren't working on any of the watch faces, is there something I'm missing? I'm in the UK btw.
 
clear messages?

Does anyone know if there is a way to clear old/past messages off the watch? I cleared them from my phone but they are still on my watch.

When you pull down the notifications on the watch, you can force touch and clear all. That doesn't solve the problem of keeping them in sync though.
 
Using simple/utility face? Any way to get rid of the second hand? I can change the color, but don't know how to make it disappear...
 
When will the activity records sync from my watch to the activity app on my phone? Quite a bit of workout and movement recorded today on watch, but Activity app shows nada on phone. I did log multiple workouts as actual workouts.
 
Anyone having problem while you were in messages and your contacts will only have their phone number displayed but not their corresponding names?? I will have to force reset sync data from the phone to get their names displayed correctly on the watch??
 
I'm also having trouble with sunrise/sunset times (in the UK). Was disappointed when the Solar watch face didn't match actual sun position, then noticed if I choose to add sunrise/sunset to other faces I just get __0__'__''

Have I got a setting missing somewhere?
 
Regarding alarms: I'm getting the haptic on my :apple:watch, but also getting the sound from my iPhone, although I have it on silent. When I set the alarms sound to *none*, I didn't get the haptic, just a flash for the alarm.

It should. I tested it yesterday and it worked very well. It will utilize the microphone on the object you initialize/answer a call on.

I'm having the same issue. I restarted the watch, updated the world clock and the weather app to ensure my local city is at the top. Not sure what I'm missing
