How? What part of this do you not understand. If you have an iphone already you can keep the unlimited data. It's grandfathered over.
yeh, that's something to think about. new features of the new phone make me wonder if i'll use more data. like Pandora. if that can run in the background now...i'm afraid i'll use it more and run up the data. or run up the data loading better pics and hd video.
You serious??? Oh right..because the only people who are going to get the new iphone are the people who already have one....
Exactly! especially if it can record videos in 720p.. now if you go to upload that to facebook that is going to chew up more data then a standard video. It will be much easier to burn through 2gb with the new phone if it has all these features that it's rumored to have..
The tethering charge is BS!!!! If there are caps on the data plans, then tethering should be free! I don't mind the new data plans, but to be charged $20 just for the privilege of sharing my iphone data (which I'm being charged by usage now) with another device is completely unacceptable. I'll be jailbreaking thank you very much AT&T.
You have an iPhone already. So you going to be able to keep your plan.

And no current iPhone user is going to want tethering, right? You serious??? Oh right..because the only people who are going to get the new iphone are the people who already have one....
I can understand you're all pissed.
In Belgium (that's in Europe), prices up to 15 euros per 200mb are rather the rule than the exception.
Almost no one here has mobile internet. Nearly everyone that has an iPhone only uses it over WiFi.
It truly sucks.
You HONESTLY think that AT&T WON'T change their grandfathering policy between now and when the iPhone 4 is released?
I'm honestly not trying to be insulting with that question or this next statement..
You have MUCH more faith in AT&T's leadership then I and... I suspect... many other people on this forum have.
I don't think the grandfathering policy will change. All providers let you grandfather features over. AT&T has done this with the Blue Customers in the past.
