No vacations? That's terrible!
Its not that uncommon for retail. When I worked at Wally World during college there were a instances where we couldn't get off, including a month of inventory.
No vacations? That's terrible!
These dates don't seem possible to me. My understanding was that we would find out about 6 weeks prior to release due to the FCC. A June 15th time frame would indicate a 16th (monday) or 17th (tuesday... more likely) which ironically is 6 weeks away from today.
Umm, try 5 years...
This sounds very interesting however, I'd like to see the actual memo. I'm sure it was handed down via company email or other internal communication medium.
. While we figured out a lot of what it will contain ..... I am sure that Apple is holding a few more secrets about V2 of the iPhone.
Lawl, 8mp camera phone. What in the world do you need an 8mp camera phone for. It has no real lens! You want 8mp and then use the "digital zoom". Le sigh.
I really fail to see the logic behind them keeping version 1 on the market.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think ATT and Tmobile's 3G are compatible.
That didn't take long. Now when the iPhone 2 comes out with 3G, we can start the "this network sucks and is way too slow, bring on 4G!!"![]()
i think they should keep the 8gb edge iPhone for people who dont need the extra 3G and shouldnt have to pay more
8GB iPhone Edge ...= $199 please
Umm, try that's a bad, unverified rumor started in a poorly written USA Today article last year. T will distribute and support the iPhone for 5 years. The chance that T has a 5 year exclusive is slim to none.
Of course they are. Thats what standards are for.
But the iPhone is a quad-band phone already (although I think the frequencies are 850/900/1800/1900) (and T-Mobile in the U.S. operates primarily on the 1900 frequency). No they're not. T-Mobile is 1700/2100; AT&T is 850/1900.
With all the iPhone talk, I can't believe it's only been out just a year. Here's my dilemma...I'm walking around with a Blackberry 7100t that I can't stand and I got in December 2004. Did I mention the thing is ANCIENT?
Anyway, I've been holding off for v2.0 of the iPhone and now it seems that pretty much 1 year to the day later, it's coming. Did I mention that the iPhone launch coincides with my wedding anniversary (June 29th) which makes it oh so easy to remember when it came out
The real problem is that I read somewhere that AT&T has an exclusive on the iPhone for the first 24 months which means in just 12/13 months we could be buying the iPhone through T-Mobile, my current wireless carrier.
What do all of you think? Would you wait?
Of course they are. Thats what standards are for.
Yeah I have been wondering about this myself, also I would like to know if the contract only applies to this version, or if apple could use some sort of scam like change the name to "iphone 2.0" and be free from the contract.umm, im not trying to be a dck but i believe that it was a 5 year exclusive and you may correct me if i am wrong but the only way for apple to go to t-mobile also is for at&t to not hold up a certain number of iphone sales?
