Preordered yesterday i6+ through premiere, shows ship date of 11/7-11/23. Should i cancel and go with apple?
 
My yearly ritual of visiting this thread continues.

Iphone 6 128gb Space Gray moved up from 10/13-10/31 to 9/17-18. 10101... order number and finished order around 3:10am

Same thing is happening for me... Main AT&T order status site (att.com/wirelessorderstatus) shows "Backordered." Premier status site now says "Expected Ship Date: Pending Confirmation." Previously, both showed an expected ship date of 10/13 - 10/22.

Not sure what to make of this. Hopefully AT&T's systems are simply in the middle of a refresh.

Mine says the exact same thing. However, I ordered mine at 4:00PM PST.
 
My space grey 6+ 128 also changed to 10/13/-10/22/14 (originally 10/31-11/11), I also completed my order around 3:10amEST... Do you think we are looking at that day or is release day delivery still possible?

Since I've noticed everyone (who has AT&T) just about has the same delivery time frame for the space grey 128 6+ I was thinking there was an availability issue with that particular combination.

Also, while we are excited to have our dates changed to mid October I couldn't help but notice the Verizon thread where they are getting tracking numbers with delivery dates of 9/19 even the 128 space grey 6+... Some have already been p/u'd by fedex and are hanging around TN for the deliver by date...

Was charged on my credit card

Then received the status update saying November 11/9-11/27... Was annoyed

Just got updated this morning now it says 10/2-10-13

Not too bad.. I was hoping for launch but two weeks later isn't too bad

What the hell, you ordered the same phone like a half hour after I did why is your estimated ship date before mine? What the hell is going on at AT&T?

This just confirms what an AT&T rep told me and I feared wasn't true... The system was overwhelmed between 3AM and 3:30am est that it stopped processing orders, it kicked back in around 4somthingAM but our orders that didn't get processed in that time sat off to the side while people who ordered after us got processed before we did.

This is why there were so many in that 10/31-11/11 boat, the system failed we fell out of line and the system processed us later in the morning when it slowed down. So people who ordered after us could get their phone before us.

So messed up and so unfair...

Dammit that makes sense because I ordered at 3:15 during the rush and didn't get an email until the morning. Mine was definitely processed later. :mad:

changed from 9/17-9/18 to pending confirmation on premier site
on att site it shows Pending Shipment

No actual shipping date shown at all........


I though I could get it on day one but now I don't know

I was in the 10/31 group, I honestly think as days go on, all of our ship dates will start to align.

Did you read what I wrote? The comment confirmed what I feared wasn't true? In other words I was skeptical at what the rep told me, hoping it wasn't true. With the information of someone ordering the same same phone as me, at a later time but having a ship date before me made me think it was true.

I am not familiar with AT&T's system or processes so why would I be gullible to believe what a rep for the company tells me? If anything it seemed more believable than the typical "everything is okay" blow smoke up your ass comments they usually have.

So enlighten me, why is this such a silly story? ...and why would someone have an estimated ship date before mine if the ordered after me and it was said to be first come first served?

Me thinks this is some crazy theory of yours and you throw in a story about an AT&T rep confirming it for you to somehow give it some validity. Relax, take off the tinfoil hat, and enjoy your new phone when it arrives.
 
The explanation of orders dropping and needing to be reprocessed later may explain why my order was delayed. I completed my order around 12:10-12:15 and everything looked okay. I know I was finished because I was in bed before 12:30 so I could get some sleep before an early morning flight.

But my email confirmation from AT&T is timed at 4:41 Pacific. There were no issues with my account or credit card - so no reason for a 4-1/2 hour delay from when I completed my order to AT&T sending a confirmation. Everyone else seems to have received an email confirmation timed shortly after they placed their order.

What other explanation could there be for a 4-1/2 delay in order and confirmation?

I had a 7 hour delay before confirmation...
 
Mine moved from 11/09/14 - 11/27/14 to 10/02/14 - 10/13/14 so let's hope for another update. I got my order in on AT&T's site around 12:40 AM PST.
