I believe a significant number of iPhone 6 orders are being denied by Bank of America, Chase, and other banks in the last few days as "possible fraud". Then orders get stuck in limbo or are canceled, therefore people missing their "spot" in the queue. I had confirmation from a BOA fraud department, that they have been getting multiple calls of iPhone orders being canceled as fraud. Maybe it's because the higher price compared to years past or the Home Depot fraud.
Friday morning, I ordered two iPhone 6 Plus's for my wife and I. Later that morning, BOA denied the two charges and started a mess for me to clean up. I called BOA Friday and got the fraud lock cleared on my account, then called ATT to ask them to resend the charge to the card. They said "all is good". As suspected it was not, both orders officially canceled Monday morning. I resubmitted orders and got canceled again. This time the AT&T system says line is not eligible for upgrade. Their web servers say they are, and it's been two years since I signed my last contract....their internal servers are just not communicating with each other. Anyways , multiple hours on phone and no department or rep can get it all fixed. I was scheduled to have my phone on launch day delivered to my door. Not concerned about getting it day one, but now even though I did everything right, because BOA and ATT can't get their systems going, I will not get my phones until near the end of November. I was really looking forward to the better pictures of my toddler son with the new camera.
Again, silly first world problem, but frustrating still. Currently on my fourth try to get phones ordered. One is confirmed ordered so I'll have to take another try tomorrow. Who woulda thought it would be so hard to get a company to take your money... ;-)

You would think, if customer service was better, you could call in, tell them what happened, they would see the history, then call back an hour later and say, "Sorry for all the trouble you went through, we fixed everything and guarantee a phone will be shipped out in the next few weeks."

Yeah, ATT put through multiple $1.00 dummy charges on many people's cards before doing the real transaction and sometimes did more that none of those and that caused the fraud determinations. I was able to go in and have att re do the charge and it worked for me. You would think charging credit cards is a new thing or something.

Three years ago, I preordered the 4S from ATT on Friday when it went live, didn't get a tracking number until the next Thursday and the phone showed up on Friday. So I won't loose hope until this Thursday evening if I've not received a tracking number.

Only thing is, did you receive wild shipping dates back then?

Mine still shows preorder processing, with a button to cancel preorder.

I did have an initial date of 10/31-11/11, later revised to 10/13-10/22.

Exact scenario for me, 6+ 64GB Silver preordered on AT&T's website around 7am last Friday.

Even though that was around 4 years ago, I can still see it being the same now. My assumption of how things will go is that the 2nd bump up in date is what will closely mirror when the phone ships.

Either way I think I'm more glad that it will ship in mid-Oct as opposed to mid-Nov.

What times they gave to you?

Mine originally said shipping 10/13-10/22 and yesterday was updated to 9/17-9/18. I ordered a Space Grey 6 64gb about 10 minutes before they were supposed to be selling.

Losing hope that AT&T will get these phones out to us by launch. :(

Hopefully I am wrong..

Nope, you're not wrong. AT&T clearly had a limited supply (probably < 1,000 units) to sell on 9/19 and those are likely in the retail stores.

The rest of us will have be in either the 10/2 or 10/13 batches...

Just received my first email since thursday/friday night.
Told me to check the status on www.wireless.att.com/business/order_status/ .
It still says preorder processing & Expected ship date 10/13/2014 to 10/22/2014/ .

128 gb space gray plus ordered it about 5 mins before midnight Thursday. (pacific time)

Same here, same order time as well except for two 64GB iP6+ models. I'm thinking the out of order processing theory is probably accurate for AT&T orders that went through before midnight.

(Ignore the Arby's obviously)

All of these charges have been pending on and off since I ordered Thursday night about 2:30 central. But they're back at the top of my list this morning so they must have been reapplied over night. My shipping date has always been 10-13/10-22 and hasn't changed at all, and I can't find anything when searching via reference number on either carrier. Just throwing my info out there for comparison.

Same here *BUT* I have two charges that both appeared at the same time. $499 (initial debit check?) and the $542 (iPhone plus tax?). I am really hoping the $499 drops off since it is tying up my money. It will be a long battle (a few weeks from what I was told) if they have to research and credit one charge back.

RANT WARNING!!!

At this point, with all the frustration, and disappointments with Apple & ATT on shipment delays, I'm loosing my excitement on getting a new iphone. The thought of keeping my 5s and waiting for ip7 is slowly starting to take root in my mind. I will wait till Friday to make my final judgment.

Happens every single year with AT&T Premier (just look back at the forum history). Their processing and tracking system sucks. You'll get your phone Friday. Relax!!

just got off phone with premier customer support...she told me that my order has already been completed and ready to ship even though my EST is 10-13/10-22...it's an 6+ Space Gray 128 GB ordered 3:31 am 09/12...she told me that i would have my phone friday....so that's something i guess....also i see no info on the UPS tracker

I pre-ordered a 6/64gb/SG & a 6+/64gb/SG from ATT. 6+ was ordered at approx 12:10 PST, and 6 was ordered about 10-15 minutes later. I seem to be one of the few who hasn't had any charge or pending charge show up on my credit card. Wondering why?

The order statuses for the phones both say "preparing to ship"... 6 says shipping between 9/17-9/18. My 6+ says between 10/13-10/22.

Actually, happened to me for the iPhone 5 also. Always gave me an erroneous estimated date. I'm trying to relax also. Well. We should all relax! Hopefully this is the same thing all over again!

I still have no email, no order status, just a screenshot of my order confirmation page, and a ticket now submitted with AT&T premier, yippy :D

I have that exact estimated date. Changed from 10/31/14-11/11/14. I can still see the cancel pre order button and my cars was charged but it doesn't appear on my banking website it does appear or our internal banking systems ( I work for a bank ) as fully processed.

I can confirm from AT&T that my iPhone 6+ 64G Space Gray that was ordere around 15 minutes after the AT&T store opened has shipped. My order on their site says shipping 10/13 - 10/22. It had previously been longer than that but moved up a few days ago to that range.

Anyways, customer service confirmed it shipped. Seems they were under promising on date ranges.
