Online billing chat is unavailable... Guess they got tired of answering all the questions about the upgrade. When I speak to someone I'm gonna bring up that I didn't know that they moved the upgrade date to 18 months from 12 (which I really didn't). Was it 12 months at launch for the 4S? I don't remember being told of this change either, which means you can legally break your contract with no ETF.
I was never told. I don't know if they sent out letters but I don't remember getting one. It was 12 months when I got my 4S. I've upgraded every year since the original iPhone with no problems.
That's the line I told them, that I had upgraded each year and was unaware the policy had changed for lines with a bill over $150. I haven't gotten an answer from AT&T yet. The rep told me on chat she forwarded my case to the supervisor and would let me know within the next 2 days.
